now exactly where in that video is the big black getting his "ass kicked"??
As I see it.....a big black guy is getting schooled in BJJ in what appears to be a fairly "controlled" situation. Why do some people feel it necessary to equate what happens in a dojo or training facility to a real life fucking street fight? I have fought black guys and samoans djimbe's size from oakland and SF....and I can tell you in now way shape or form is that video indicative of the hurricane of violence a man that size brings in a real fight. Not saying anything against BJJ....but if someone's going to claim he kicked a big black guys ass....show something real, not a training session. Djimbe....the guy who started this thread, is he the guy in the video?

No , hes an Idiot from Bullshido , where the whole thing started .
Heres what Happened ... Thornton put out this Idiot Video that made my wife call him an Idiot in a Thread on Bullshido - this was back when we thought that Bullshido was about Rooting out Idiots and Charlitains in the world of MA , not about being in the "I Do One Or More Of The Seven Sacred Systems Club" . Basically he , in the Video said some REALLY contradictory things to the practices of Adult Education , something my spouse happens to be an Expert in . Not MA , EDUCATION . She was told that because Thornton has a BB in BJJ he COULDNT be wrong , even though what he said pretty much goes against every kind of Training proven to work in any Athletic endeavour EVER .
But he possessed a BJJ Black belt , so , in the stead of listening to the Argument at hand (the guy could have said the sky was green and the grass was Red and it would have been taken as Gospel) Fanbois started Piling on over there , including this jerkoff , so thornton tells me that I CANT know ANYTHING about REAL training because I do "Kung fu" and I need to see his Seminar for the REAL deal . so I tell the guy Im not paying him to learn his crap , but Ill go Observe and take a fair asessment of what went on - but Im NOT paying for it . So I show up , feeling a bit off but thinking ot shouldnt matter , Im there to Observe anyway , he tells me I have to Train or leave , and pairs me with the little man in the vid , KNOWING Im not going to go All Out with a guy literally less than half my size , especially one thats as Charming and genial as Louis was at the time . And he knows that Martial Artists suffer from "Uke Syndrome" when in a new Training environment , you dont fight whats happening like a Newbie because you assume that there is a method to the madness in the end .
I left a lot out , most specifically the part where the guy tried to Threaten my wife for disAgreeing with him , etc.but thats the Gist of it .
So these kids try to follow me to other Boards and make the other Posters Dislike me . *shrug*
