I would imagine the answer is yes.

she could just not be a big eater, but if she sets out to eat very little during the day to save room for booze cals at night, thats probably not good.

i'm not judging you myway, i do the exact same thing, but i only let myself do that on the weekends, where almost every single calorie comes from booze, haha.

i have no problem getting to sleep though so I cant relate

What if you set out to drink one or two protein drinks per day, buy them premixed if you have to just so you can open the fridge and down them. Just try and find one that worth drinking and loaded with an abundance of unnecessary sugars.

I have RBD, insomnia and HSP='s im screwed.
Basically, it takes me 4ever to fall asleep. When i do get to sleep..my REM stages are disrupted mid-session. This sometimes causes the HSP. So, when i DO get to sleep, I get to look forward to HSP. Good tymes. benzos are usually the answer but they stop working.... since i have been on them almost my entire life.
Have you ever considered seeing a psychotherapist, specifically a reputable one who's trained in hypnotherapy? Not being able to sleep and dream is right up there with not being able to breath or drink water. Obviously you've exhausted everything conventional medicine has to offer, why not try something slightly less conventional?

BTW, while the wine sort of helps, non-organic wine is actually loaded with fluoride metabolites, which can interfere with the pineal gland's melatonin production. Not to mention the fact that alcohol actually interferes with the body's ability to achieve delta sleep, the truly deep, restorative sleep.

Think about the therapist, seriously. What have you got to lose?
