I define true online friends as people I talk to offline also. There are only 2 of those at the moment and they're both gone from EF.
 
i like everyone, but the people to have gotten friend status from me, in my heart, id say

There are MANY people on here I would consider friends in some form, I'm not going to list them all because I would end up leaving someone out, but I think most of you know.. I enjoy having so many good bros here.

ulcaster and I were friends way before anyone on here knew who he was. I was the only person on here that actually knew what his name meant, lol. We still chat on a different board.

tacosupreme is my only friend online.. he's one of the few "i dont beat off to karma" kind of guys... dont come here to make friends just to kill time.. dont really care if anyone likes me or not..

thats why i like tuc cuz he is a bitter bitter man and i respect his "i will never get my little pencil wet again" attitude!
 
tacosupreme, is a wang. Much like his butt-buddy HERPECIN. Like leaches, they suck the lifeblood out of the various threads here, while contributing nothing positive in return. Here's hoping that they decide to imitate some synchronized swimming moves off of a freeway overpass :rolleyes:

But friends? Nah. There are some I could be friends with , but time, distance, & responsibilities make it impractical.

Hey doll, I consider you a good friend, havent spoke to you in ages though:(
Seems we both take long breaks from the board. Yeah, people like to gossip, thats the cool thing about the internet, socialize and when they annoy the fuck out of you, you can simply not login for awhile. I took eight months off last year enjoying the summer and outdoor stuff. Come back and its like home with some good people sticking around but a whole new crop of people, EF is life on fast forward though, one minute your the center of gossip, the next, people forget about it and its on to the next discussion topic, no one stays mad at each other for long, plus you take a break long enough and people just disappear.
Hope you are doing well, oh sorry, I pretended to be George Spellwin some months ago off the board and said that we had an affair, but just to Hammy and Soklu in IM and I doubt they believed me so hope that didnt contribute to the gossip, I dont see how they anyone could believe that Im actually a GS alter living in NY hanging out with you lol

Very well said! I've ben trying to tell people this from his first day here.
 
I've spoken to one person from EF offline, and had a very pleasant conversation with them. Out of respect for their privacy, I won't mention their name.

There are a few other people on EF I *believe* I'd get along well with in real life, but that's about it. Considering I'm a staunch loner, that's giving them quite a compliment, albeit somewhat anonymously.

FWIW, YMMV.

Other than that on the boards there are so many nice people I've never met...

Raina, Scotsman, BlutWump, Wnt2bbeast, Devastation, Radar, Dial_tone, perkele, sublime35, IvanOffelicht, buffer1, SVT-TROY (fellow cat lover), Daisy and everyone one else who has been really cool and helpful to me since I first logged on in 2/2004.

...and "paying it forward" was Rotten Willow who gave me a bunch of karma without me even knowing...a really wonderful person. :)
