I went to click on it since I hadn't read it yet, and it disappeared on me.

Apparently some of the spiteful pricks who said they were leaving are going to hang around and destroy as much as they can, while they can.

Is that what happened to your sig link? Someone is mocking you on CM as well, using your user name. Thats a no nonsense board, so I'm sure whoever it is will be deleted soon.

I can't believe it. I'm 20 years old, and it's just amazing to me to see the immaturity of some of these grown men. Don't these people have more important things in their lives to worry about? Like their jobs/families? Good grief.

This whole situation today has been a bit of redemption for me. Many of my antagonists over the last year have been in a position where they were allowed to deal from the bottom of the deck. Now that they've been exposed as liars and cheats, their only alternative is to do the only thing they know -- lie and cheat some more. They can't win a fair fight. They can't debate an argument intelligently. So they revert to schoolyard pranks and bullying tactics. At least now everyone sees them for who and what they are, and what they've been all along.

It wasn't me. The thread was fine.

this type of shit is happening more and more lately....hopefully the 'house cleaning' will fix that problem soon.

Alright, what's going on here. I thought yesterday was scarey, but now......Fonz and Nelson somewhat getting along? Something is up. Heh heh heh.....

that is bullshit it was deleted. Nelson said nothing wrong in the thread.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. Someone is deleting a BUNCH of stuff.

This is another reason why - as I said yesterday - Mods should not only be selected based upon knowledge, but their disposition. They should not be selected based on post count (these people with like 3000 posts in 6 months, thats almost sad - get a life!), not just on how much they know, but what KIND of guy are they?

Do they keep a level head, don't get pissed or create drama, don't create controversy?

THAT is an important criteria.

Some of the current (well, soon-to-not-be) Mods fail that test.

And at least 1 name mentioned in the "nominations" yesterday doesnt either (in my opinion).

well said.

All of this is bullshit.

Anyways, going back to the training tip thread, is there a reason why you recommend limiting the range of motion on the incline curls instead of getting the full stretch?

Conventional wisdom in every bb book says that the whole purpose of doing incline curls is to get the stretch, so I'm just curious.

I answered this in the deleted post, but here goes again...

For one thing, not straightening the arm keeps constant tension on the bicep. Also, once the arm is relaxed, in order to bend again, the brachaialous must come into play, that fatiques the arm before the bicep is exausted, defeating the purpose.

Yeah, Fonz and I may not agree often but I'd like to think we can share cyberspace without wanting to tear into each other every day. After all that's gone down, I think we all need to concentrate on keeping a level head. And yes, I agree that a mod should be chosen for his demeaner and maturity, not his post count or his cycle dosages.

Nelson do you think all biceps exercises should be done this way....that is without fully streching the arm?

You would think.

None of the links in spatts' "Training Methods" sticky work. I want to know who fucked that one up. That thread was a wealth of training information.

im a year older than you :mommakin: but i do think you are a 100% right. kinda pathetic

That sucks, because it was actually a good thread. The loss of spatt's stickies is a definately loss to the board. I've looked at all of them at one time or another. It was a wealth of useful information.

Spatts is one of the greatest assets to the training forum... no doubt.

Nelson is one of the greatest assets.... to. I'll get back to you on that one.

nelson, what if one WANTED to train the brachialis? don't u think that adds a good dimension to the regular bi WO. i read an article in t-mag.. i think u know the one- abt pop 'em out muscles where they recommend training the brach. i have tried it with good results.

umm... another thing- i missed the original post- could someone repost it or summarise it?

A lot of great threads have gone from the training board, too. :(

This is trully sad, hopefully they have backups.
