Where I am on my work trip-

So we flew into San Jose and went to Specialized for 2 days. Today we rode 40 miles into Santa Cruz. Fucking awesome ride! Major hill climbing and some fast ass decents. I rode a 09 Roubaix Pro. Was a tgiring blast of an experience.

Tonight after a nice dinner a buddy and I went downtown SC and hit a few bars. Damn the chicks there!

Tomorrow we MTN bike for a few hours then are going surfing. I can't wait! never surfed before.

Then Thurs we ride back to Specialized in Morgan Hill and have dinner at the owner's house.

I am now typing from my balcony right on the beach listening to the surf crfash. I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight.

lol i hope you bring a fucking wetsuit. Even in the middle of the summer SC's beaches have the most ridiculously cold water i've ever stepped inside. Get lunch at Cafe Brasil if you go back!

And surfing.. God damn that shit is harder than it looks. I am so sore. Then we went to the pool/hot tub and had a drink. the best thing about this trip is i haven't paid for a thing.

I truly love my job this time of year. I would never been able to do the stuff we do without it. Even if I could afford it I would probably go some place tropocal instead. I'll try to get some pics up when I get back.

I rode an S-works Epic and a Roubaix pro. Both 09 models. They both rocked. i was at Mike Synard's house tonight. He had a BBQ party for us as we are his #1 seller in the world. I will post up some pics when I get home on Sunday. All in all, best free work paid vacation ever!

BTW, I did ride a S-works Stumpy FSr and the fuckin thing was awesome! Didn't get much time on it and had no time on the Enduro, but if I lived out here i would buy one in a heartbeat.
