Well I was a 7 year member of a place called Health Quest and I moved to a new house near a gold's gym. I said flat out I'm not paying the up front fee and I want the corp. discount. One of the personel trainer's backed up my story, $29 a month billed out of my checking acct. no sign up fee. If you know a regular member at the gym that might help or better yet someone who workes there.

I'm in Bally. I pay $56 monthly for me and my wife. Contratc for three years, going to the third on 2004. After the three years we pay only $12 monthly both.

I want to switch to a yearly plan though and pay about half that in one installment.

you could look into buying a pass (they sell 'em for a year or semester and they used to be reasonable) to get you into the rec center or gregory gym...

The dude calls me today and gives me the whole song and dance about how he just talked to his boss and how he put his neck out for me and got his boss to waive the start up fee... So, I jumped on it.
