What Size Pin for Injecting Quads? Gauge/Length?

I have never needed to inject in any place other than glutes. But, now I am feeling hardness and soreness in one glute and injecting 2 pins , twice per week is too much for my one good glute.
-What is the best size for quads and delts? gauge/length?
I am just nervous Quads have more nerves than glutes.
-Does hitting a quad nerve hurt more than a glute nerve???
I wish had a nerve roadmap of quads and shoulders (delts).
I WILL "man up" , just need a little advice

25g 1 inch is good for quads and delts. You could do a 23g for quads but there's really no reason to.. I never had a problem hitting nerves or veins, I doubt you will either.

i prefer a 1.5 inch for quads. i tried both in my last cycle and the 1.5 made it less sore and i could never feel a lump. and my gear hated 25g. my 1.5's are 23.

I do feel like there are more nerves in the quad.. but I do 23g with 1.5" with np. 1" is good too, doesn't matter too much imo

I was nervous about quad inject the first time. The first time it burned like crazy, but countless other injections later, I have never had the same burning. 23G 1" pins are what I use. Upper outside quarter is the best place. Sometimes it feels like I hit a nerve (a little shocking sensation) but its not bad.

I use 23-25g 1" pins for quads.

For what it's worth, a passage from Chemical Wizardry:

"If the gluteal region cannot be injected for some reason, the second choice would be the lateral portion of the thigh. Usually, intramuscular injections in the thigh are only indicated for infants and children. The vastus lateralis muscle is the only area of the thigh that should be injected intramuscularly. This site is determined by using the knee and the greater trochanter of the femur as landmarks. The greater trochanter is the bony area that you can feel where the femur joins the pelvic girdle. The mid portion of the muscle is located by measuring the handbreadth above the knee and the handbreadth below the greater trochanter. Injecting into the front of the thigh or inside of the thigh is extremely unwise. These areas contain nerves as well as a number of blood vessels."

And a map of the nerves in your thigh:
