What is the BEST store purchased Ice Cream.......

I bought some splenda sweetened ice cream over the weekend which contained sorbitol. Got a little carried away and had two servings back to back. Gave me the runs yo, straight out. Tried it again on Sunday, just one moderately sized serving and no problem. Watch out for sorbitol. Actually, that might be a good form of portion control.

In Tenn, Mayfield is the shit

Turkey Hill ice cream is the best.

We had Turkey Hill stores in Williamsport, PA. God, I loved that stuff. I saw Tony Soprano eating some, I think in season three.

You want the ice cream to accompany the dessert, not overpower it..

Anything other than vanilla or maybe dolce de leche which is a vanilla and caramel swirl premium ice cream would be OK, but chocolate ice cream on top of the brownie and heath would be too much IMO..

Breyers is a Northern thing. Definitely, the best up here (in my opinion).

Never had bluebell. I wonder if they have it hear in VA (though many don't consider Northern VA the "south"). If I am ever below Richmond again, I will look for it.
