What is the best martial arts for self defense?

In Canada and maybe the US
MT and KB do not use a belt system.
actually in Tailand they dont use belts in MT either. But if they use belts in Lebanon then I'll have to recognize and respect their system.

no form of muay thai or kickboxing uses a belt system...

muay thai is an internationally recognized art...the system would remain the same no matter where you are.

maybe some mcdojo gym might do that, but that's about it.

Every form of martial arts back home uses a system. How else would you judge the level of a practitioner?

Instead of getting leaner and meaner, when not just run for your life and live to run another day?

Or masturbation? Sure, it's not a great fighting art; but after a five minute session...no one will want to fight you. And some guys might even be turned on! Be a lover not a fighter.

Karate has a belt system. So does Taekwondo. Judo. Kukoshinkai. And I'm pretty sure kickboxing does also. I know Muay-Tai does back home. Not so sure about Canada. If heavy duty says they don't, then I'll have to take his word for it.

I was awarded my belt when I successfully traversed the rice paper without leaving a mark, then snatched the pebble from my Master's hand. :)
