I just took off to get some Monster energy drinks, cause I'm sick of coffee at the moment. Gonna be up late this evening, cause I don't wanna look silly in explaining shit, that in reality I'm not sure I get. Anyway, I just had a weird convo with one of the check out clerks. She first asked me what I was listening too. Well at the time I was listening to the Silver Jews, who I now remember I need to recommend to Southern, anyway so I take the ear jacks off. -Big Mistake- She has never heard of them, so I ask her if she has heard of Pavement, why I bothered, I dunno. Anyway, she had not, but then she just randomly asks if I like Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians. I don't now, but I grew up to the hippie chic, and yeah I didn't like dislike her. I tell her yeah and then remember Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars was the name of her first album, I have a weird memory. Anyway she stops checking my nicorette and monsters, and proceeds to tell me for like 10 minutes how she saw her live in concert in 85 in Austin as the Bohemians.
I was so in a hurry to get home, cause I have to pee, and its only 7 minutes away. She even tried to tell me bout Frank Zappa, I just nodded and told her I had to go. I mean WTF, anyone have peeps bug them with some Hare Krishna Cult Like weird shit? Its funny how U so don't wanna be rude, even though really sometimes the best thing to do is keep walking.
-no pics of Albertson's' Sorry-.
