What happened to my pec?

I would think that pec implants would be the only option for a "normal" looking chest in your case. Did your pecs look the same before you had the gyno surgery? I hope things work out for you.

I had a similiar thing happen to me after gyno removal from my right pec. I did dips without any improvement. I started doing decline and flat dumbell presses and my lower pec filled in. It took awhile but it worked. Barbell declines did not seem to wotk either. I fucked around for about a year without any real improvement. It only took about six months to look normal after I started hitting the dumbells.:)

someone plays too much daggerfall.

For a while I wasn't sure if the doc fucked up or if I was just built differently. I am going to see if I can get an opinion from another doc. To win a malpractice suit you must first find another doc to state that the doc fucked up. That can be hard to do. I looked up the statute of limitations for my state and it's two years from the time when you learn that a mistake was made and not necessarily two years from the time of the operation.

Your surgeon didn't mess up. Your condition is common following surgical correction of gynecomastia. All men have some breast tissue cells just behind the nipple. During surgery, they attempt to remove as many of those cells as possible in addition to the hyperplastic "lump" you feel. This will leave a vacant spot, usually having a "doughnut hole" appearance which will fill in over time.

Somtimes it doesn't fill in normally and will look different. That is just a consequence of the procedure. He cannot be held accountable for correcting a situation which you created by illicit drug use. Think about it, you used illegal drugs and, and a result, grew breast tissue. Then you seek a surgeons help whom you later want to file a lawsuit against because you don't like the fact that a known complication of the surgey has happened to you.

This malpractice bullshit is severly hurting a health care system which is already in trouble.

I don't intend to be offensive or an ass, but it had to be said.

What about all the guys who have gotten gyno from natural hormonal imbalances? Are they to blame too? Don't be too quick to judge this guy because he never stated it was from AAS use.

yeah buddy look at the size of this guy, I don't think he's used too many AAS. It was probably something he got during puberty.

You need a plastic surgeon to do it... I had a surgeon do mine, and mine is fucked up... not THAT bad.. .but my nips are slightly different...

I did not intend to be judgemental. I just get touchy with the malpractice issue. Regardless of the etiology of his gyno, the results of the surgery are still the same. The surgeon's job is to remove the tissue and remaining tissue which could undergo hyperplasia as well. I think the results are better than having the breast tissue. As Citruscide said, the results from a plastic surgeon would be much more pleasing to the eye but it would also be more apparant in the bill!
