2008 VW Jetta Wolfburg Ltd Edt. with leather seats. The quality of VW has gone into the shitter though. Last VW I will ever drive.

I have a '99 Nissan extended cab truck that I am going to try and get 1,000,000 miles on. Not joking. The thing is a beast.

And I like riding the soul train. n0 h0mo.

here ya go

Nice cars rnch! I used to have a '72 Buick La Sabre and it was the best damn car I ever drove. I like the older models. 15mpg sucked. The back set was so large I could have filmed a gangbang in it though. And the trunk space was amazing too. Enough to fit three Mexican families in and smuggle them across to Canada where they belong.

'09 Toyota Corolla (white) manly as fuck

Actually bought it cuz I know it will last me 15 years at least, and oh, can't beat the low interest loans available for 'em :)

My next purchase will be for fun. I previously owned a 1982 Ford 150 w/ 35 inch tires and a 6 inch lift. Redneck as fuck! Hey, but when it snowed, it was play time. I didn't hesitate to drive through people's yards and shit :)

Looked like this, but a shortbox: http://www.whiteknight.ca/MVC-007S.JPG (yea, I had the roll bar and everything)

That's odd, my GTI has been perfect. What problems have you had, and at what mileage?

2002 Mazda MX-5 Miata, just turned 40,000 miles. Black with a tan rag top and tan interior with leather seats, Bose sound system, and cruise control. It's decked out in the option package. I also have 16" aluminum American Racing custom racing rims. It's a really fun car to drive, especially with the top down.

jeez, v-dub is STILL making trash? i was hoping that with the later models they had gotten their quality control act together!

i was ready to trade the cruiser for a new jetta last year; but the up and down quality control horror stories owners told me about made me hold off. LOVE the vw/audi interiors, but the rest of the car scares me off. :worried:

unless you have kick ass abs. . .and ride around shirtless a lot. . .not that i do anything like that :lmao:
then u need a low to the ground convertible, not a high ass off the ground socker mom mini van.

Like I said above, my VW has been problem-free so far.

the 50/50 quality control results expressed here are not positive enough for me to plunk down the Big Bucks on a car that may/or may NOT stay together. :worried:

Lets see,a 1986 Chevy 1/2 ton p/u ( lifted with a 454 tucked away ), a 1990 corvette convertable ( mint condition ), a 2000 chevy silverado pick up ( actualy my wife's, less than 65k miles ), a 2003 Hummer H2 ( somewhat tricked out ) and lastly a 2001 custom built chopper ( i guess that doesn't count ).

What up cockmouf? How are the friendly skies?

Wassa happenin' man? I'm just living the dream. Seriously, it's the best job in the world. I'm spending my only days off this week sitting on my ass and surfing EF. What's new with you?

meh. . .i got teh normal cars for my area of the country. . .

if i'm gonna spend money on a car, it's gonna be somethin' bitchin', like a '70 chevelle ss. . .

Lorinser rims are fuggin' spendy, then again all 3 pc. forged wheels are. I prefer ashanti's over lorinser.

Is there any advantage to a 3-piece rim for a street car?

I mean, apart from the hideously ugly circle of set-screws?

I certainly dont "show off" with my Tracker either ...

What is the commercial 'atmosphere' in Costa Rica...

Venezuaela, Israeil, and Cuba were the highest in the early 80s, then a coup took Venezuela over and they installed a free market economy, peeps cared less about politics and more about bling' in. Today Venezuela has the 2nd to most depressed teenagers in the world, so Im curious, what the atmosphere of Costa Rica is...

Capitalism, Commodities... powerful stuff ya know?

Me, I"m hooked on both, but yeah... wish I were 'free'.

Well it's pretty stable here, you can get your own car and your own house, considering that there is a 4 million population here we had a fair last year called expomovil, it lasted only 1 week and they sold over 5000 new cars :o

I have what is considered a really good job with a US based company and I get by rally good considering half my paycheck goes to my university tuition

Yeah, I can relate, as I'm in a post grad research gig, and even got extra t a duties that pay well less than if I worked at White Castle... it's my last year doing research though.. for awhile, as I've got even more schooilng ahead... next year.

I won't' be making good money till mid life crisis hits...

Oh well.

Yeah... it sucks, I'm getting a PhD which is pretty expensive because they fly in our teachers from Spain (University of Salamanca) in order to teach us (no online crap jaja) so it's draining me out :(

Nice, I just finished my MA from JFK, but my PHD will have to wait.

Damn, very nice. yeah, online, I'm sure has its merits, but yeah, even though you are really paying for a 'passport' the personal knowledge, such as the habits, experience that the academic Wise, have obtained and can pass off is priceless.

They are out there, and that is no joke. I mean there is so much of a prejudice against academia, but some people who actually embody what they teach exist.

I've only met a few, that would lead me to question this formula.

You have mad respect from me...
wow.

my bad guys. had a bunch of tests today and eyes are SUPER dialated. cant read a thing. hioefully this wears off in a few hours.
