me: picking up my kid, taking her for a haircut, dress shopping, grocery store, then home to watch movies with her. hubby and my boy are racing, so it'll just be me and my daughter. :)
 
Just back from a run, going to watch Argentina fuck the Nigerians at football & then hopefully witness the Yanks beat Ingerlund (fingers crossed).
 
doing some billing (clients), then my son's soccer game at 10 (he's 4 and doesn't seem to have the "soccer" gene...i'm kinda happy about that, to be honest), then back to the office to clean up a bit, then a quick workout, then my daughter's dance recital, then home to finish packing all my stuff for a week at disney followed by a week at st. augustine (beach).
 
I had plans to go to the beach but it doesn't look like the sun is gonna come out. I think i'm just gonna bum around until 3pm-gym. No other plans yet.

Orlando disney? Been warm here. Im 2 hours south but heat index of 102 - 107 today. Pack your speedo
 
Making some calls, then gym, then resort pool to get my tan on. Then more calls, then friends over tonight.
And of course maybe a dose of plat in between there somewhere.
 
I'm leaving for Chicago in 75 minutes, having lunch with an orthopedic surgeon, then coming home to enjoy my Saturday evening and Sunday.

agreed - speedos are for europeans and the geighs.

Enjoy your vaca... water should be plenty warm at the beach. I believe I heard a surfer ran into a shark yesterday at Daytona or so. Course that's further south but keep an eye on your kids bro.

they're still pretty young (10 year old twin girls and a 4 year old boy), so they don't stray too far from the shoreline...plus, we abide by the rules and tend to stay out of the water at feeding time (dusk and dawn).

Taking my kids to a local festival. Will first get a balloon for my kid incase he tries to run off. (So I can see him.) Crowds can make him very awnry and he takes off in a split second. Happened once. The worst feeling ever-not seeing him through the crowds. Beautiful day here today.
 
Checking out some Messi action than going to a strongman competition and finally coming back to cheer on the yanks
 
Already did the gym - now I'm at work; procrastinating. Board Reports are due 8:30am Monday morning. My best friend's little brother's going away party for boot camp.

Yea all the reports Ive heard this past winter/spring are surfers who are out. Of course they are further out than your kids will be. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.
 
I've got laundry to do then 'm going to the gym. I'm seeing the new karate kid tonight. I guess will smiths son tears that movie up, its suppose to be better than the original.

Not possible - my boss just left - I am now the only one working in the building, and he wants me here at 7am Monday. I wouldn't be able to get it done in half an hour anyway. I'll be here for a couple more hours.

i'm not into remakes of movies that arent even that old. there is no way this can be better than the original, so why bother? so will smith can get his kid a movie?

Whats hilarious is there were about a couple dozen protesters in front of a local theater near my place and they were protesting the movie remakes, A-team, Karate kid, etc. one guy had a bullhorn even. i would got a pic but was on my motorcycle

Glock 21 and 26, Springfield XD(m) .40, Ruger LCP, Walther PPK/S, and my 30-30 which was a bitch to get dialed in. Saw about 50 turtles when I came upon this huge swamp lake I didn't even know existed, tried to catch one but those buggers are quick like cat. Was tempted to shoot this long water snake, you know, cause snakes are creepy and shit. Couldn't bring myself to do it though. I'm such a pussy. Oh, and toads galore! Most were about 2-3 inches wide, but a few I saw would have to be picked up with both hands. I'm guessing the turtles feed on the little ones.

It took me 3 tries to get side arm qualified in the Navy. I'm fucking beyond horrible at shooting. Can't stand guns anyway.
That said, your cologne critiques are so much betta.

I am dying my hair black today, going for a hike (or maybe doing the hike first), and later i'm making a nice dinner for me and my daughter- pasta with (turkey) meat sauce with fresh basil and parsley from my garden and fresh mozzarella.

Getting a Haircut, I've got a full blown afro going on, right now... and while I dig the 'what's going on look', Marvin Gaye could pull it off, and well... I can't.

Working out, skyping the movie, The Dancer Upstairs, with the
S O, and then watching the game tonight.

I've been dying my hair black for a few months now. It looks better like this because my hair is thick and curly and gets bleached by the sun easily.

I'd dye my hair a different color, but yeah... that would be worse than me wearing overalls. I should do both.

Today is chill out day for me (easy 5mile walk to stretch my legs from this week's running, light resistance session), let my joints heal for next week's running onslaught, hopefully watch an entertaining football match later (Germany vs Australia), sadly without beer & lime :(

hmmmm...ok yesterday when you made this post it was 4pm in the afternoon in Cordoba Spain and I was getting rained on for like the 4th day in a row.

If you're a rum drinker, you owe it to yourself to try Ten Cane rum sometime. More expensive than Bacardi but the difference in taste and hangover is night and day.
 
I cant drink much rum anymore since that one time I got drunk on it and my husband had to carry me out of the bar :) have only been drunk few times in my life (like 4) that was one of em.... :worried:
