what alternatives are there to milk?

hey i'm trying to cut at the moment but i've heard so many people saying milk is bad for cutting. The problem is i include milk in all my protein shakes so what can i use as an alternative? water has no carbs but is it still ok? any other suggestions? thanks
 
water is fine, you will have to get used to the taste of your shakes with water tho, they will taste like crap if ur used to milk
 
Milk isn't good for a low carb diet because it is high in carbs. The more fat in it though the less carbs it has, but still not a good choice
 
Add xantham gum and/or natural peanut butter and it will taste better with water. Myoplex low-carb is good w/water.
