18 a unit in SD, and thats up from 11 a unit.

I am about to drop 7k down in tuition for UofA.

Do what ever you can to go to school this semester. Even, if you can only afford to go part time and work more. If you can't at all make sure you go back ASAP. When I was in college alot of my friends took a semester bc of $ or whatever. But, most never came back.

I applied for funding last year. I got my fafsa in on time. Thing is I was working full time but wasn't making shit. So I decided I should go back to school. They told me I made to much to qualify for a grant. I said lady I don't make shit and you're telling me I make too much. She said if I was married on the salary I was making I could then possibly qualify because I would be considered poverty level. So I tried to find a wife and and kids, but on such short notice it proved to be rather difficult. So I tried for the Stafford Loan, whatever its called. Filled out the forms and all that, but was too pissed off to follow up with it. Thing is if I were an illegal alien with 15 fatherless kids, I would have qualified. Fuckin foreiners come over here and get everything. We don't and we live here. Ofcourse I also came to the realization that I could have been taking a shitload of classes when I was working my last job, because I was only working part time. Now that I am working full time there is no way I can go back. At this rate it I would have a four year degree in 20 years. I'm only 26 but people always tell me to do it now. If I don't I never will. Kinda hard now.
