Welcome to Kevin Levrone's training log

Yep. 2 months ago I couldn't even bench 185 1rm. Today I put up 275 twice. Haven't lifted in three years, so the muscle memory thing is definitely true. I was benching 400 three years ago so I'm still "weak" by that gauge but I'm sure Levrone was benching 500 in 2000 and he's probably around 335 on bench right now. "Weak" by his standards, beast man weights if you ask me.

Levrone's squat is pretty weak right now, I'll admit that, but my squat is terrible right now as well. It's not surprising he can only do 275 for 6 reps right now.

I think maybe sometimes we get disillusioned with what "heavy" weight is when we keep watching Ronnie squat and deadlift 800 lbs. I'll be very happy when I can deadlift 500 again.

Yea bro, it's amazing how relatively quickly it comes back to you. 275 is nothing to laugh at...Not many can even do that:)

As for the 400 that's sweet for sure! I love cranking 4 plates on each sides and doing a few reps...and with God's help as long as Im healthy I will always enjoy doing that:)

Im not suprised about the strength loss. It goes away if you dont lift but it comes back very quickly if you start again.
If I lay off for a while i can hardly do 275 on bench but I can rep 315 within few weeks if I eat right and train religiously. I guess if you have mature muscle cells the muscle memory comes back to pretty much where you left off
If he is doing this naturally he has some serious muscle memory!

Good point. Did he really take 3-4 years off training without weights at all???!! wouldnt have thought someone who loves this so much could do that. I know i couldnt!

that's the thing, in many interviews he talks about how much he doesn't like being in the gym. he would take most the year off while touring with his band and then hit the weights for 4-6 months prior to the O

Imagine if he went hardcore all throughout the year?

He could have been another 10-15 lbs on stage which would have netted him a few Olympia titles.

He'd pack on 35 solid pounds 4 months out and get in shape. Nobody else could do that. His conditioning is always really good too. Dry and hard. The guy didn't have to work as hard as others to get to where he was at and he usually placed in the top 3 in shows. He's probably the most gifted BB there has ever been. His many wins and top 3's show that clearly.

If thats true thats amazing!

wow bro.. i have no words for that kind of improvement!

muscle memory+roids will work wonders. anyone remember that experiment with casey viator back in the 80's where he gained 40 pounds muscle in a few months or something?

but supposively hes not doing roids... its all natural after not working out for 4 years..yes about muscle memory..but not that rapidly

*supposedly*

I believe he is natural. This guy woul be another 15 lbs with juice that quickly. His muscles are like sponges in the sense that they just soak up nutrients like crazy.

He would actuall be stupid to start cold using juice. He'd get injured too easily.

fuck, that 6 week transformation takes most people 12-16 months....

Makes you want to just quit working out lol.

That was the Colorado experiment and it lasted 28 days:

RESULTS . .
First subject (Casey Viator), 28 days
Increase in bodyweight........45.28 pounds
Loss of bodyfat..............17.93 pounds
Muscular gain.................63.21 pounds

damn that blows levrone out of the water. i bet viator was on roids though but still totally badass.

can't believe i didn't stumble onto this earlier.

thanks for putting all this up buff.

guy has sick genetics and godly muscle memory.

i definitely want any supps he is on. even if they are bullshit. lol

I just watched the first segment of Levrone's "ripped" phase which will be dedicated to shredding body fat. He does a hour and a half run. Doesn't this contradict muscle building?

b/c he was skeptical? Is it on the forum where he mods?

on the radio program where the results were explained , he was not exactly sure,, also they havent tested for the peptides and GH. Sure muscle memory was the biggest part but dont forget that this guy lost A LOT of bf too. He got to single digits and added crazy mass. He used to do that a lot while he was in the game but right now it is without AAS if we truly believe the results..

I think he is on peptides... Or his body is able to produce a lot of growth and IGF
I;ve been thinkering with peptides and i've been blown away by the results so far!
Im not too suprised what he had accomplished even though his testosterone is within normal range.
To build muscle you need more than testosterone ...you also need growth, igf, insulin.

Varga, can you tell little more about your peptides experiences?

What you want to know?

Overall, my entire body is changing, just about everybody who hasnt seen me in about a year are saying that i look different, bigger and skinnier at the same time...hard to explain
Also, Im very sensitive to gear now too I dont think Im going to touch 1 gr of test and 800mg deca a week anytime soon like I use to do in the past. If I do 1gr of total gear is a lot of gear now
