Wearing hoodies/sweatshirts for the gym

I see loads of guys wearing thick jumpers for the gym to do weight lifting.

What's the deal with this? It seems like they want to raise their body temperature for some reason, to burn fat? It's not at all cold in my gym and it gets pretty hot lifting weights sometimes, I just wear t-shirts.

LOL @ white boys who watch too much mtv, BET and mtv2 and try to adopt the "gansta" look....

i sometimes where a hoodie or a long sleve shirt when i first go to they gym. i find that it keeps my muscles alittle loser and warmer before the blood really starts to pump.

I wear a hoodie to the gym and usually keep it on for my first warm up sets just to make sure I stay warm. Then I go down to a t-shirt or tank-top depending on what I'm lifting that day.

Cheers,
Scotsman
