The same way it's funded in europe, by taxes. A liberal should not be afraid to use the word taxes.

2) How would you solve the education problems? The teacher's union and teachers are democrats and have done a very poor job of teaching America's youth, dumping billions upon billions of dollars into the system has shown that it has done no good in solving the educational problems. What reforms should be implemented to improve the educational system and motivate the teachers and the teacher's union to teach children and how would that be paid for?

You make it sound as if teachers have all the tools they need and have all the resources necessary to get teaching our children done in a somewhat encompassing manner. The problem is the public school system as a whole needs revamping. Qualified princiapls and teachers need to be in place , but they need the backing of local and county gov't to make this happen.

3) Death tax is a tax on money that has already been taxed once as income. Why shouldnt a person who worked hard, saved their money not be able to pass it on to their children? You dont see a moral dilemma in taking 55% of an estate sometimes much higher if you add up the estate taxes. This is a huge burden for family businesses. Why should a family member dying entitle the government to take over half the value of the family business or family farm?

Incorporation is also a double tax but noone is complaining about that. I believe a will lessens the tax burden of an individual upon death. This process will turn a business from a sole proprietorship into an LLC or full incorporation via IRS filing and will lessen the tax burden further by separation the individual from the business. This is the whole point of incorporating , but dont' tell 75th that...

Rather than putting down conservatives or liberals I believe its more healthy and much smarter as well as intellectually honest to discuss the issues rather than attacking some label. Thats the only way to solve problems in logical thought.
Too often I hear college kids who've taken a few classes think they know it all when they rarely are familiar with any of the issues and why they exist and they have not thought in any way how to form workable solutions. Being for an issue does not mean anything. Who wouldnt be for everyone getting healthcare or children receiving a proper education. The problem is how to achieve these goals which is what I am asking how much you have thought about it and what your solutions are. Just trying to get you past the name-calling and debate the merits of each issue

The universal healthcare concept is a huge expense and yes it would have to come from higher taxes no doubt. I happen to agree that the healthcare system is in a crises. I fear that the cost and cons of a government run healthcare system would be a massive beauracracy and well I have not heard any good solutions to it. I work in medicine, the issues are huge. Itd be a massive program and government tends to fuck things up big time. The drain of the economy would be massive. The Republicans should work with the Democrats and come up with a solution but they'd rather play politics with the issue. Its one of the things that does piss me off how messed up it is but the Democrats as well dont have a reasonable solution more than lipservice on it.

I am not necessarily against a death tax per se but they should prevent it from destroying family businesses. People lose family businesses and farms because of the estate taxes. Now there is a valid argument in that wealth is created in this society and they take advantage of this environment and so say a Bill Gates should have a death tax. Its something that should be limited to the very wealthy and the superwealthy though and let the smaller fish keep their family business. There is a good debate but in general the death tax is wrong in its current form IMO.

No reason to attack conservatives or liberals when they both have problems, the only way issues are resolved are to work as a moderate getting agreements with both sides working. Unfortunately the people are too polarized and rather attack the other side which basically screws everyone b/c the US is headed towards becoming towards huge issues. Glad I wont have to live here to worry about it very soon

Wal-Mart is communitstic all the way. At least the Sam's club I worked at in college. EVERYTHING had to be just so and their way. They, being the corporate headquarters. It didn't matter if a certain display didn't really get much attention in this region of the U.S. or not, had to be their way. The MAN'S way!! It's the man again, man!!
