agreed...

Now back to the discussion at hand:

Ulter: LOL! Done that one before... kinda flopped outa bed, it was very amusing! They feel like "play-doh" when that happens, kinda scary at first because I can't move my anything from delts down to my finger tips... strange. I usually (if my other arm isn't numb) flop it around until i get feeling and can clench my fist and then lift it up and flex all the muscles around to get some blood moving in there.

Velvett: Great idea! Yeah keeping my arms down is wicked hard, it's just very comfortable for me to keep them up or streched out, if they're down my face gets sucked into the pillow. I'm going to have to try out a body pillow sometime.

Vertigo: I'd reply to you but I'd need a dictionary to read what you've written :p

Could be bad blood circulation..this is while your awake right?

mostly in bed, but it does happen sometines when I'm sitting up. If my arm is bend for a long period of time, the last three fingers on both hands go numb.

TheLion sent me a "K" message and told me that he had the same problem and that it could be due to a pinched nerve......I know i had a pinch nerver for almost 2 years when i was younger...but dont anymore..

I have the same problem..and it only started when I got big. I swear its all the new muscle in my arms that came so quick from aas.

Sarge thanks for posting up your findings :)

I'm no doc, but TSO - Ever hear of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)?

I get it all the time. The fun ones are when both arms are over my head and I wake up and they're both asleep. Try getting out of bed like that. lol
I would pay money to see this :FRlol:

Lifting heavy weights and eating creates makes one's muscles larger. Not AAS alone... AAS would simply preserve muscle otherwise.

Yes, bigger one's chest and shoulder area the more this seems to happen... but mostly when sleeping with the arms "up."

TheShortOne: I'd say pinched nerve also or something similar... get it checked out by an M.D. All we can do is speculate on here.

'tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt silly child. I don't look down on the people who use gear, so don't get pissy with me because I eat organic food and DON'T use gear.

ANYWAY, I contributed to this thread because I suffer from the same problem and I am in the medical field, specifically neurology and orthopedics.

In the case of some people, it's muscle tissue swelling and compressing the neural paths (neuropathy).

In the case of other people it's tendons swelling from overuse/repetative use or tendinopathy (carpal tunnel syndrome or tennis elbow).

In the case of others its a situation where you have degenerative discs that permit causing compression on the nerve roots as they exit the neural foramina (aka, cervical radiculopathy).

Ugh! I hate that! You're in a stupor because you're not quite conscious, and as you roll over, a strange arm clubs you across your face - lo and behold it's your own dead arm! And then the pain sets in after a minute. YARG!
