Used my new Rage X last night, all i can say is WOW

Purchased my wife a RageX and first workout in it she did an easy 320. I think Inzer hit on a good one this time. Thanks

Man, you guys are some freaky strong bastards!

I've never had the opportunity to use a shirt! I would love to try it out.

Right now I am benching 375lbs. I benched 425lbs back in november, but had a minor pec tear and haven't quite gotten that strength back.

Where do you guys think I would be in terms of weight if I were to try a single ply shirt?

I'm 25 yrs old, 5'11", weigh 220 lbs, roughly 15% bf.

appreciate some feedback from you seasoned veterans.

I would say that if you have never been in a bench shirt before start with the basic Inzer blast shirt and get used to it, then work your way up to different levels of advanced shirts. Shirts are quite different from raw. Hope this helps

It all depends on how strong you are when the shirt stops working. There's no real easy answer. You have to learn how to use the shirt and then build on that. It's all about technique.

I skipped the standard blast shirts and went right to Heavy duty blast shirt and the Extra heavy duty blast shirt. I buy then sized right then split the back so I can get them on in training. Try ebay...

I had shoulder surgery about a year ago and the shirt work has really helped me make some fantastic progress both in raw and shirted lifts.

How much are you getting out of the shirt at 4 board height? The pop from the shirt happens at the bottom, not at the lockout. Unless you have monkey arms, you're not learning anything about the groove of the shirt with a high board press. A lot of the top PL guys are getting away from shirted board presses for that reason.

oh yeah, have you ever used a shirt? Im guessing not because from your post, it looks like you have no idea what you're talking about.

Thanks for clearing up that shirts help at the bottom and not the top, i was really confused about that. Im sure the others on here appreciate that bit of wisdom also.

Uhhh...yeah dude, I have a denim shirt. I like the fact that you can get practically anything to touch...or pull the shirt down and make it hard to get serious weights to touch. I wasn't actually giving you crap. I was just wondering what you really learned about using that shirt from a session in which you didn't get the bar within 8 inches of your chest.

Im working my way down the boards until i can touch with weight i can lockout. This is my first time using a serious shirt and training in it for a meet, and an experienced member on here suggested this to me. When i make it all the way through a cycle, ill up the weight and start over. Its working well for me and seems like a pretty logical and sound way to get used to a shirt like this. The rage definatly isnt anything like the ehphd ive used in the past. I think if it takes serious effort to get 405 within 8 inches of my chest with this thing its definatly worth training like this with it.
