Used my new Rage X last night, all i can say is WOW

This shirt is nuts! im used to a single ply ehphd, so maybe thats why its so amazing to me. The carryover is rediculous on my rage. I dont see how a shirt could possibly get any better.

Set up the power rack to about 7-8 inches above chest, about the height of 4 boards (havent made them yet). And banged out these sets:

225x3 this went down about 3 inches lol
315x3 had to pull it down
405x3 wow that was easy
455x1 easy
495x1 not easy but i got it

this shirt fuckin rocks. tore me up so bad only going 8 inches away from my chest, i cant imagine what ill look like when i touch. I really think ill need atleast 455 to touch with this thing. I havent done lockouts or boards in a long time and this workout reassured me i can really lockout some decent weight still. I think ill be able to hit 450-465 in the meet im doing in june.

It really is, i cant wait to train in it again. Would twice a week be too often? I figured i should only use it once a week.
 
It's okay to learn the groove of the shirt and to play with it. Just remember, most of the time when you spend too much time in your shirt your raw strength will suffer a bit. I usually do use it on ME day if I am benching heavy flat.
 
I like the shirt too.
I have 2 ragex double ply's, a size 52 and a 54. With the 52 I can not get 585 to touch and with the 54 I can get 495 to touch. I think the 54 is too loose, lol. I'll post vids in my log.
 
check out those videos, you are a strong bastard i must say. what class are you lifting in?

i cant imagine using the double ply rage, the single is pretty strong. Im doubting ill touch anything below 450. Im going to work like crazy in this shirt to get the practice in before my meet on june 26th. Its the first real shirt ive ever used and i need to learn how to touch with lighter weight. Im only 181lber so i cant lockout the crazy ass weights you are lol. i barely barely got that 495 in that workout i posted above. thats 90 lbs more than ive ever held before though, so i was very nervous. Ill do much better with it next go round i know this. ill take a video with my cheap digital camera next time and post it up.

I want to stay in the 275 class. But I'm not focusing on bodyweight this year. I'm just focusing on healing my shoulder. (I had shoulder surgery 1 yr ago, basic clean up). I'm around 280 now. I'm way off from where I should be. I only competed raw in the past. I looking forward for doing an up coming APF meet in June. I'm thinking I can hit 600 there.
 
600@275 is nothing to sniff at bro, shoulder problems or not. Just dont re-injure it, shoulders are the worst.

today is bench day, but i was bored last night so i threw the X on and had my old man spot me. got 435 about 2 inches from touching and locked it out. I fucking LOVE this shirt. I cant lift heavy for shit in my basement either, i dont know if it's the atmosphere or the old ass olympic bar that distracts me, but i have never been able to get into it at my house. Im smelling atleast a 450 come June.
