Ultimate Fighter, Season 2

I watched episode 4 last night. Anyone see it too? The fight at the end was pretty brutal. Lots of elbows to this guy's head. I won't say who it was because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who has not seen this episode yet. One thing that is kind of irritating is how much the show focuses on just certain people, especially Jorge. Maybe the other guys are boring, I don't know, but I'd like to see some of the other guys and hear what they have to say.

They seem to put the spotlight on a certain guy each week. I think eventually you get to know all the guys as long as they don't get eliminated.

I think Jorge is pretty cool
plus Matt Hughes is one of the coaches and is irritating him so it's natural that that will get a good bit of air time

This week was on of the worst fight I have seen in a while - both looked tired from the start and nobody pressed the action. I hope the remaining contestants can step up a little or I will watch Leno instead.

I bet Dana is worried about the exact same thing :)

I sure wasn't impressed at all, either. Bad hands by the white guy (name?)....the other guy looked like he had potential, but the lame showboating showed otherwise.

I sure hope the next fights are more exciting, too. You'd think these guys would be as wild as hungry caged lions....

Couldn't agree more. They both looked as winded as a 90 year old cancer patient. That white guy just sucked ass as Dana confirmed, saying it was the worst fight he had ever seen. I'm hoping things turn around this season. I think for season 3, Dana and the gang seriously need to re-evaluate how they choose their contestants to weed out the wastes of space. The preview for next weeks episode looks promising however.

They need to find some real fighters. I can't believe that these are the best guys they could find. Also, they should not claim to have the "worlds best 16 amature fighters" when you are only selecting from the US and Canada.

This is exactly why I support Pride Fighting over UFC. I still watch UFC because it's there, but Dana and the Fertidas, or whoever picks fighters for the show AND for UFC competitions needs new glasses.
The early UFC fighters were serious competitors, but now it seems like any shitwad can decide, "Hey, that looks cool", and get on the circuit if Dana likes how they look.
I don't think guys should even be allowed on the show if they don't already weigh-in within the limits for the weight class they'll be fighting in. One-dimensional guys should also be excluded.

I agree... the issue the UFC faces is the fact that Pride will have 60'000 people in a packed arena... which means they have the biggest purses and the best fighters on the planet. The UFC is going to take a while before they get all the best fighters... until it reaches the level of pro boxing... the best fighters will continue to be in Pride.

it looked like Tom (the white guy) had virtually no standup training at all
and the black fellow (Rashad) looks capable of fighting but he is unwilling to take a chance and swing first almost...

it is the job of preview people to do that
dosn't mean anything
for instance the preview for this weeks said there was a controversial fight
what was thecontroversy cus it's obvious to me Rashad won
it was a Unanimous decision
the only controversy I can think of is how in the hell these people get on the show
