Ok, I know this is a little late but I just saw the GSP/Serra fight. WTF happened! GSP screwed up. Wow. That little midget sure got him good. I think GSP will be back though.
That guy has some major class. I love the way he never shit talks anyone and takes his loss like a man.
Btw- I cannot STAND Diego Sanchez. Thank gawd the other kid beat him. Wow.

Totally. Tito could take a few lessons from him. I mean GSP walked out of that ring like a pro. Gave all the credit to Serra and admitted he fucked it up. I did see GSP slip at one time when Serra was going at him but still, he did mess up. And I really liked the fact that GSP mentioned he trained hard, he prepared, and he lost fair and square (notice how this time, he didn't say "fairly squarely," LOL).javaguru said:

He's still my favorite fighter. My next is Koscheck. I was glad he beat Diego Sanchez. Especially after he pushed him at the weigh in. Diego already knew Kos was gonna whoop his ass. He's only a 4 time ncaa champion wrestler vs the New Mexico state champ.javaguru said:

Yeah! Me too. What the heck was Sanchez's problem? The guy fought TERRIBLY in the ring. Overall, it was a pretty boring fight but my God, he just bounced around like a kid with ADHD the whole time.dannomight said:

I know. He fought 19 fights with people who really didn't fight well so that is understandable - but I guess I just assumed too much. I look at a guy like GSP and think that more fighters should have his attitude but his attitude is rare. Just like the "natural," Cotoure. Randy is my favorite fighter and then GSP. The guys are just so respectful and have never said a bad word about anyone... never made excuses up for their losses (COUGH Tito COUGHT), and overall, are just peeps you'd want to be around.dannomight said:

That sport is probably the best sport for people to follow and copy. Those guys have a TREMENDOUS amount of respect. They shake hands, fight, and hug afterwards (unless they're Tito they cry and then probably go home and get laid since Jenna probably feels bad for him).
I thought this sport was pointless and just plain violent in the beginning but you learn the truth as you watch it more and follow it. I love it and I think the guys are great role models (attitude/sportsmanship wise).
Plus it's realy fighting and no one has or will ever die from it (unlike Boxing).
There's one thing I cannot stand though - and that's Dana White.

I know a lot of those guys have self esteem issues (the ones like Sylvia, Tito) - again.. GSP/Cotoure = great examples of what the sport should be. I have NO idea. People make threads about me and expect me not to defend myself. KSharp bombed me twice but two people diffused it the first time. Then she realized that and bombed me again while I was gone, I guess. I don't really care - I think it makes a cool background for the yellow. LOL. Yeah - I was dying through the fight as well. Three rounds of boredom. LOL. And it did make it worse that they talked all that shit and then people were disappointed. I laughed when Sanchez walked out and brought all his friends from Mexico. Did you see the Mexican band he brought? LOL. Guess it didn't help him... all I know is I was glad that fight was over and I was really sad about GSP's loss. He'll make a come back. Such a talented guy.Delinquent said:
