Suggestions on Dieting while OFF...
Folks,
I'll be away from the gym and weight lifiting for about a month or so.
My stats: 180 lbs., slim type of body (read:hard gainer), fast metabolism, I've been in a 3,300 to 3,500 calories a day, taking supplements plus a very clean and lean diet, no red meats or whole eggs, just poultry, fish, etc, etc, which brings me to my question:
What type of dieting comes into play while being off?
Should I keep eating calories that high per day ? So as, not to lose whatever I have gained so far?
Should I just go back to normal eating, in other words, reduce my calorie intake according to the period of inactivity I'll be in?
Consider, that I don't want to gain fat....so, what bodybuilders do while they take time off??? I'm puzzled.....!
I won't have a gym offhand so...should I do push ups or cardio just to keep up the shape....
Please, help! any advise is welcome, specially from you well experienced lifters out there.
Thanks in advance!
