8-10 cans a day straight up. I love tuna! Nah just kidding. I usually have 1 can a day with 2 tbsp of salsa or lemon pepper seasoning.

LOL..this is a funny Q. Only because I eat like 1-2 cans a day. My wife is Peruvian and turned me onto this great little recipe.
1 can tuna.....drain the water!

squeeze a half lemon on top. This marinates(cooks) the tuna and makes it easier to digest

Cut up some onions and toss in. I add a tablespoon xtra virgin olive oil to this and a dash of salt and pepper. It is addicitive and tastes GREAT. So easy to.

is 4 and half cans a day too much? Being on a student budget and trying to get as much protein as I can get, tuna seems like a good option. Do you think I am taking in too much sodium? I drain before I eat it, depending on what meal it is (fat/carb) i might add anything from olive oil to lemon juice on it or eat with some toast.

Never thought about the sodium, but I bet you could rinse it off also b4 adding ingredients to cut down on it.

If you enjoy the taste of sour cream it is good. The added moisture makes it easy to chew and swallow, and the sour cream taste overpowers the fish taste big time. It’s the closest thing to mayo IMO with out all the fat.

Ditto, fat free sour cream!!! and Franks Red Hot!!!
