This is training: Girl Training



I LOVE these girls! I've tried this workout before, it's really really tough. You are sweating everywhere, you are breathing hard-it's awesome! My pull-ups are really weak though, I could only do one at a time.

I've done this one a few times.
I couldn't do 45's like this guy. :( I started with 20lbs, after a few sets my form started to deteriorate so I dropped the weight and started using the bar alone. I try to do these at least once a week. It's funny how everyone in the gym starts starring. It used to make me feel very uncomfortable but I sort of got used to it, now I don't really give a ***. I have my ipod on and just zone out...

Oh god no, don't feel bad. I'm pretty sure those are 25lbs. The Y i used to lift at had a set for the olympic platform where the yellows were 25, blues 35, and greens 45. But all were the same circumference.

Of course i would have coughed up a lung doing that with just the bar.

I wanna throw up just watching that

I've done this before but with OHS, fatman pull ups and push ups. It took me about 30 minutes to complete lol

Ever try the filthy fifty? Those are tough too.

For time? I would break this up into three sessions and do it M/W/F lololol

This would seriously suck, but after a few weeks of this you would be extremely conditioned. Or dead.

Yeah, whatever works for you! If you are a beginner you can start with 25 and work yourself up from there.

worst form ever lollol.. Damn bar was swaying all over the place. Fun to watch though.

The last exercise was Bent-over row, I wasn't able to do this one. My arms were fried, I couldn't bring the bar back up :(

To make up for it I finished with DB Thrusters & Step ups-- 4x15

You are awesome. That complex is no joke. Most men would struggle to complete one round with 65lbs. You did three!!! Good job!
 
No rest Ebony - start with doing 20 of each first - then work your way up to 50! Crossfit doesn't demand that much all at once. Those women are trained in endurance, functional strength, and respiratory ease. Typically training starts with three or four moves and expands from there.

It is impressive but the one girls form goes to shit on the cleans even with good form cleans are hard on your joints shit form and your asking for an injury. I am glad a re-watched that and saw it was 25's per sides not 45's I feel like less of a weak ass now. LOL
Yeah, they use Olympic weights. They can be deceiving! I still feel like a wimp though...

It's supposed to be HIIT, it shouldn't take anymore than 20-30min. Give it a try girlie. :qt:

Alot of those reminds me of the cybergenics training programs, after Squats we would do those ball squats, then switch to free squats until we collapsed on the floor!

okay reporting back and Jeezus! um that routine was crazy!! HIIT, what kind of understatement is that?! i thought i was going to die...
 
Did you time it?

yeah, the whole thing took me about 17 min(i definitely did more than 20 sec rests at times.) i didn't reach fifty for any of the exercises. my legs gave out on me during the end and my stomach was about to empty its contents right there on the spot. those jump tucks are no joke, especially when they come last!

If you are trying to view a video that says "no longer available" just go to the crossfit website and go into "exercise and demo's." You'll find them all there. They move them around all the time so sometimes the link is broken.

also google. i looked up each exercise and read up on it-the precautions, the directions, the training method. it was def interesting. and asking around your gym if you can manage it. i found out that 3 of the regulars there did this type of training in the past. so i had a demonstration of each exercise right before i did it. i'm sure they were laughing their ass off, but at that moment all i cared about was getting those gulps of air into my lungs.

Wow, it's sweet how you think I can do that :biggrin: at 5'1 at 163 pounds I can do a lot more then I though I could but 50 of all of those just might kill me, many of you girls are in good shape and cant do full 50, I might end up comatose but I can try with a pathetic Filthy Five and work my way up :biggrin:
