These are deadlifts

You know I like a big deadlift:)

Not long ago I was doing reps with varying weights (600-700) and a guy on the net told me that it was MUCH easier to reset between reps than to just touch and go. Supposedly he is some record holder in some fed on the deadlift as well. Either he or myself is the freak...because I found it MUCH harder to reset between reps (which I continue to do).

Keep pulling man...glad to see you pulling BIG weight!!!!!

Regardless of build of leverages I don't know anyone in the world who has ever said touch and go was harder. I think "Supposedly" might be the operative word. Then again, maybe he meant it was harder to make gains, maintain form, or maximize your pulling power, I'd agee with that.

Did this on monday, ate my wheaties and had at it so for anyone interested in a deadlift vid here ya go.

I've done 635 for reps before but this was the first time I paused between reps, which made it a lot harder.

(right click/save as plz.. thx)

now that's some deadlifting! nice work bro. did i miss something, or is that completely raw? have you broke 700 for a 1RM yet?

only 635...what a pussy

try more next time you pussy

but really great job!!

Thanks, again, Tweakle, for posting these vids. There are few things more motivational than seeing a big deadlift. Seeing those big deadlifts get bigger is one of them. Awesome.

no belt but I use straps since I believe that gripping the bar for deads takes away CNS that could be used for the actual pulling (and I like double overhand, there's no spinal twisting if you bomb on a big weight which is a good thing if your back is as fucked as mine).

I got 700 this high

<----

lol.

after some hard sets with 585 and 635... I know if I do a proper warmup and have at it next time I'll break the 700 club.

madcow I'm anywhere from 235 to 245 depending on the scales I use :)
