i know we are a little short on options these days, but fair play to them for having the balls to go up there and make a point. governments are more bothered about money and continuing industry than the environment.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to govenrment and public policy, but aren't u guys alot more liberal than us, I mean don't u guys have a socialistic stance on issues... again forgive my ignorance... just curious...

In a nation of Laws this sets a dangerous precedent. Does this allow pro-lifers to dump pig's blood all over a doctor or his staff? After all, it's no real physical harm.

Co2 extractors and Solar Energy utilization is not that far off.

This whole thing is essentially an energy problem, we need a better way to harness energy thats available and use cleaner sources than arab oil. Not that I give a shit about the environment, I care more about sticking it to the fucken arabs.

I am not worried about this situation.

yes, Americans use these terms quite a bit, but they really don't mean much, have the same sort of associations or impact in the UK.

what im saying is, that governments make out like they are so concerned with "greening up" but they are not. they are so hypocritical it is unbelievable, they are concerned with making more and more money and advancing the country and short term gains.
i am not a greenpeace tree hugger, i realise the need for economic advancement, but the shit is going to hit the fan in a big way if more isnt done to prevent damage to the environment. i havebig respect for those few who scaled a 630 foot tower because they believed so strongly in their cause.

Has it even occurred to you that they actually realzie what a crock of shit it is to try and spend billions "greening up" when there still isnt proof that humans are actually causing global warming??

This whole environmental movement is nothing but the liberals version of the endless war.
