The right Gas to use for a Keto program, no fuckin energy at all for workouts

I would add some carbs during your workouts with whey or amino acids... that improved my workouts a lot on a low carb diet and I didn't really noticed a big difference in terms of fat loss ...or buy one of those preworkout supps that you see a lot these days

I'm surpeised anyone does the Keto diet anymore. A ridiculous, catabolic, muscle wasting, unhealthy and inneffective attempt to burn fat. Taxes the adrenal system. Raises cortisol and adrenaline. Causes dehydration which strains the heart. Horrible. Eat a piece of bread already.

this same thing happened to me whe i dropped my carbs that low
my workouts were crap
i bumped my carbs up to 150 a day and ate most right before my workout
this seemd to help workouts greatly and i think it may have helped me lean out more and my energy levels improved as well
my opinion of low carb diets is they defenitley work but low carbs for someoene who trains balls out and does moderate cardio could be 200 grmas a day while someone who mainy does cardio could need only 50 grams

I agree with wellbilt here.

I only consume around 150/day. My training is in the am so I consume 75 grams (complex) one hour pre-training, 75 grams post training (mixed fast/slow carbs). Thats pretty much it for the day carb-wise. Greens are the the only carbs i get in past NOON. It's goten me lean as hell and the carbs pre-training are enough (with some coffee) to allow me to train with just as much intensity.

I eat a ton of all healthy fats (80-130 grams) and 300 grams/protein daily as well.

Not to pick a fight, but if you actually think a high carb/low fat diet is more effective and muscle sparing, you're crazy.

Whats up Wufgar, I am actually following bodyopus and yes there have been certain weeks where energy gets sapped. Are you low- carbing the entire week? If you are, you might consider adding a carb loading day.

Also from suggestions/info i recieved do not add any t3 because we are in a semi-catabolic state and that t3 might chewup some muscle.

Only thing I noticed was that when I dont get enough sleep 8hrs on this diet i cant train. You might also be eating to much protein and not enough fat.

Whats your training split? cardio? Are you supplementing those things you dont get enough of like potassium, Mag., Calcium? Multi-Vitamin? Dbols are just gonna make you more sleepy.

Look into bodyopus. I get weekend carb ups whichs definatey helps me personally.

For those of you who dont know me I am 26, 6'2 255 lbs right now. competitive BBer. Done several cycles over the past 3 years or so.

Anyhow I am seeing how my body responds to extremely low carb diet(30-50 daily), getting calories from about 400 grams of protein(lean steak, eggs, whites, powders, chicken, ect), lots of healthy fats(olive oil, flax, hemp oil, whole eggs, peanut butter, almonds, macadamias ect) and lots of healthy greens.

So far I gotta say i really have mixed reviews. I am eating almost 5,000 kcal a day and I dropped 22 lbs in the first 8 days(i contribute much of that to water bloat obviously). I look and feel tighter and my energy throughout the day is constant. but I feel like a total bitch at the gym. I have NO energy for high intensity workouts I used to do, plus, everything hurts a helluva lot more. I am finding it very hard to get motivated to push myself. I even went into the old school hydroxycut stash to really no avail.

So to counter this I was thinking about running a quick burst cycle. maybe some fast acting prop, Dbol and tren for about 4 weeks then pushing some other anabolic agents like GH, T3, clen ect.
I honestly can say I do not have too much experience with Keto programs other than the little research I have done. Seems like i am doin it right but a guy my size struggling to do sets of 12 reps with DB laterals with the 15s is just fucking ridiculous.
Help? cause Im not sure i can take much more..

thanks brolys :coffee:

when used properly, its really an advanced technique. Wulfgar is an advanced BB'er with probably one of the most impressive physiques on EF. Please don't underestimate this guys intelligence/knowledge. If anyone is on a high enough level to understand and successfully pull off the keto diet its wulfgar. Guys, please go to his gallery and take a look at his physique. Trust me, he knows the pros and cons of this, and he knows what rewards he can reap when you do this successfully.

Are you actually in ketosis,

I have never achieved that goal, but have felt just as lethargic on low carb diets as you are explaining
