The right Gas to use for a Keto program, no fuckin energy at all for workouts

Not to pick a fight, but if you actually think a high carb/low fat diet is more effective and muscle sparing, you're crazy.

Who said anything about high carbs?

bro here is my advice as you are eating similar to me. Your protein intake is right on...supps look good except i would add in 3 g l tyrosine throughout the day trust me on that bro it REALLY helps prevent CNS overload from training....BUT i wouldn't quite drop down to 30 g at your size....keep fat/pro where its at but bump the pre and post workout carbs up to about 40 g pre and post workout for a total of 80g and get that all from oats...that will go a LONG way in bettering your workouts and recovery and also muscle pumps. Then at all other times of the say stick to 40-50 meat protein and 15 g good fats every 2 hours. Also DO NOT train at real high intensity when carbs are low....you will deplete atp stores after a few sets and will get no pump/strength whatsoever... stick to heavy weight 8-12 reps and stop short of failure....otherwise you will elevate cortisol beyond belief.

good advice brother
today what I did was I added about 60 carbs preworkout(from potato, some oatmeal and applejuice), did a GREAT leg workout. strength was up, not great, but better, but I had a great pump with suprisingly light weights. kept the reps on the working sets even lower(around 3-8) and stopped before failure. rest of the day I had a few protein shakes with scoops of PB for 2-3 meals, and i had 3 meals which composed of chicken, buffalo, eggs and a green salad with some Hempseed oil, flax and olive oil.

like i said I feel great right now.
I will definately take you up on the tyrosine. Ive tried it during T3 use and it worked wonders.
Still in ketosis @ 8PM tonight(stick reads around 80).

I need to keep a log..lol

I use ECA and a few bong hits to get me in the zone. MCT's with every meal. For a great cycle carb diet try getting the book Sliced by Negrita Jayde.

sounds right on man!!! i find myself that if i drop carbs too low and am NOT using real high doses of gear and t3 that fat loss stops and i flatten out donn't make any gains whether muscle increase or fat loss. if a little extra carbs makes your training MUCH better than that alone will put you 2 steps ahead of where u'd be trying to really slash carbs and as a result having bad training sessions.

I believe the combination of Tren and a Targeted ketogenic diet, permanenetly changed my physique. I had cuts so deep that you could stick qaurters in them.

That being said, I simply couldnt deal with the hypoglycemia. I would get shaky, pale and pour in cold sweats after a workout as my body was craving carbs!

In retrospect, the addition of Tren was a regretable decision becuase Tren drmatically raises IGF-1 levels which in-turn promotes a hyploglycemic state. I know what you mean, when you say that you like to SEE the changes in your physique by staying lean.

i didnt read the whole thread, but for what its worth, the only thing to ever get me through a workout while on a keto diet was an EC stack.

when I first got onto a low carb diet , I too felt lethargic , but there was a 2-3 month adjustment period. I even got sick once or twice. After that I was able to lift weights and have some energy on ketosis

this is exactly why I dont go the keto route...I would get sick after about a month or so.....I would eat some carbs, next day I'd be 100% fine.

there is definitely an adjustment period before you feel you have energy and feel good in general.

Anyway, Wulfgar, if you're looking for a resource on keto diets, Underground Bodyopus by Dan Duchaine is a resource, if you don't have it already.
