im putting the cliff notes in points 1-5 first, and if you want to read the rambling below the bulleted points, go for it

1) for those of us who consider EF a family, it is a slap in our faces to see a few people cheer when one of our own gets banned. we should care for eachother as a community. thats what makes EF fun.

2)if you cant handle horseplay, get the fuck out of the pool

3) there is no such thing as "womanhating" only people with a victims perception. in life, if someone is rude to someone of the opposite sex, you dont label them "woman/man hater", because they will laugh in your face. why is it an acceptable label here?

4) when dating, people fall in love, and then alot of relationships fail because they slowly start picking things out they dont like about eachother and trying to change it. Elite Fitness Chat and Conversation IS WHAT IS- quit trying to change it with whining, crying, and bitching. If you dont like Chat and Conversation, then go to the MANY OTHER FORUMS that will suit your interests and needs. It is selfish and bratty to try and form it around your own personal wants and emotions, by banning the members that make this place so diverse and entertaining. learn from eachother. We all have alot to offer. if you dont like what someone has to offer, or disagree with it, then disagree with it, dont demand that the administration rid C&C of it. thats just selfish to the other members.

from what iv seen EFers classify themselves into 3 catagories:

first type: the type that says nothing on here matters, its all jokes, all fun and games, have a thick skin because everyones sarcastic, no matter how dark their humor gets, or how serious they seem.

and the second type: those that LOVE everyone on EF, think EF is a family (even if it is a dysfunctional one), and have an internal respect for everyone on this site.

and the 3rd: a mixture of the two. (id like to say i fall into this catagory).

but what iv NEVER seen is anyone make the post

with that being said, since we all classify ourselves under type 1, 2, or 3, how can we be GLAD that one of our own is banned?

sure lestat genuinely gets bothered by other people's faith in god.

thats some diversity right there, and what makes EF awsome. if someone rubs you the wrong way and takes away from the C&C enjoyment, there is an ignore feature. this pretending to be thick skinned and then crying about stupid jokes or cynicism or whatever you wanna call it is just straight up PATHETIC. we arnt toddlers, we are supposed to be "adults". part of adult humor is getting offended. if someone says something you disagree with, then formulate a logical arguement back, or just smile big and dismiss it.

for those of you with sibblings, how many times do they do someting to piss you off, or say something that makes you want to punch them real hard, and then you forget about it 5 minutes later? thats because the little things dont matter.

notice i havnt said anything about the women?

we need to have some serious guidlines about what IS and what is NOT acceptable on here. this "you are a woman hater" feminatzi movement is getting out of hand here. there is already a "woman's board" that men cant even post on!!! i dont take personal offense from any of the many RUDE comments women have made to me here. the men constantly make fun of eachother and we brush it off and love it, but for some reason the "womanhater" finger is pointed at men time and time again.

it reminds me of the "youre a racist" trend thats going on in the US.

i have a solution to all of EF's problems.

a rating system.

Each post can have a "rating tag" that is correspondant to the "post icons" smiley at the bottom.

each smiley means something.

they can mean
1) controversioanl - meaning there is going to be some back and forth, if you cant accept that people have different opinons than you, u may not wanna read this

2) rated x- not safe for work for sexual reasons

3) rated nc-17- not safe for work for violence/graphic reasons

4) an be a smiley with an afro or something- this thread may contain racial content not suitable for pussies

5) a picture of a girl crying- this thread may offend women because its a "womanhating" topic

6) picture of guy crying- this thread may offend men, because there is possible "manhating" gossip going on.

etc.

and then we can even take it a step further and have "rating tags" for members. a member can rate a member based on these catagories, and whichever the member has more votes for is what their title is.

for example

if a bunch of women vote kb to be #5- "womanhater" will be on his title so if a woman is offended by him they will be like "oh hes a woman hater i dont have to cry for attention because they already have attention) and can vote him womanhater

or caveless can be voted as #4 and his title will say "racist" so this way if he says something racist, nobody has to bitch and moan for attention because everyone already knows "oh ya that dudes racist, oh well".

im willing to help edit threads with the propper content tags if im made a moderator (not that i wanna be a mod, but i know mods already have alot of work, and im willing to practice what i preach).

i wanna be part of the solution!

if you think about it, content tags and "user labels" will help to desensitize everyone and help them to better "take things with a grain of salt".

you think its stupid because you dont have issues with any of the content on here.

but for some of the more sensative members who want to be shielded from the bad posts, content tags could be just what thye need!

sometimes it goes too far...and gets to a personal level. i don't get why people get worked up though. doesn't make alot of sense.

i like C&C because its like real life communication. in life, nothing gets personal if people dont know personal info. Nothing on EF can be used against you that you didnt disclose yourself. its human nature to judge people based on what they know about them, so if you dont wanna get judged, dont put anything up here that will get you judged. simple as that.

as for the content tags, i think it is a happy medium that doesnt take anything away from the content of EF, but does provide fair warning to some of the members with a "weak stomach" in reguards to particular issues/

I think every member has the choice to visit the many other parts of EF that are not offensive to them... I myself could easily become offended by the many things said here about people of my race and height. But I don't really. I realize this is a chat forum, and that if I so wished I could just go to the forum where everybody speaks a language familiar to me and are all probably the same height as me...

Instead, I decide to stick around C&C and fight for my point of view. And I do so without taking anything really personal.


On the same token... We can't let C&C degrade into becoming an inhospitable shit pitt. We have to keep up a certain level of class, even while talking about touchy subjects...

Balance must be maintained.

Like a recent thread by a young guy who wants to talk about something innocent, even romantic? Why does that thread have to have someone jumping in and posting "PUT IT IN HER BUTT!" over and over, again and again, using larger and larger letters until someone finally replies? What value does THAT bring to the site?

I have this image of a sloppy drunk in my bar, leaning over someone else's table, making a scene. As the bartender, that royally pisses me off.

What's the solution? Don't post up personal shit unless you can take a bunch of immature analysis of it.

Most people learn quickly that some people on here are genuine, and many are not.

for those of you with sibblings, how many times do they do someting to piss you off, or say something that makes you want to punch them real hard, and then you forget about it 5 minutes later? thats because the little things dont matter.

we need to have some serious guidlines about what IS and what is NOT acceptable on here. this "you are a woman hater" feminatzi movement is getting out of hand here. there is already a "woman's board" that men cant even post on!!! i dont take personal offense from any of the many RUDE comments women have made to me here. the men constantly make fun of eachother and we brush it off and love it, but for some reason the "womanhater" finger is pointed at men time and time again.

it reminds me of the "youre a racist" trend thats going on in the US.

from what iv seen EFers classify themselves into 3 catagories:

first type: the type that says nothing on here matters, its all jokes, all fun and games, have a thick skin because everyones sarcastic, no matter how dark their humor gets, or how serious they seem.

and the second type: those that LOVE everyone on EF, think EF is a family (even if it is a dysfunctional one), and have an internal respect for everyone on this site.

and the 3rd: a mixture of the two. (id like to say i fall into this catagory).

There's really no reason for you to do them with what your current goals are. Also, if you ran a simple test cycle with proper p.ct you'd be just fine. Thing I found is, with me at least, you see your gains and when you come off, you notice what you lose and it fucks with you. There's the whole depression when coming off that's a bitch too. It's been almost a year and a half since I touched it and although I miss the strengf gains and easy recovery, I really don't need it to train. I can easily stay over 200 lbs if I'd like, I actually want to get down to 190. People giving you shit for not wanting to do it is about as highschool as teasing someone for not smoking pot or drinking.

when i met you last summer, how far removed where you from sauce?
you looked pretty jacked, if you can maintain that look i don't think you need sauce

8 months. I weigh more now but probably have 3-4% higher BF. I still have a 4-pack, but whatever. I prefer to do cardio outside and the cold + my asthma + the inversion (smog) we get here wreaks havoc on my lungs. The shirt I was wearing was one of my favorites and it looks like it's a size too small now.

this is my first winter of full time cardio
starting off treadmill whoreing, realized i hate indoor running, so i moved outdoors.
been too icy as of late...we got about 2 days of solid rain followed by a deep freeze.
too dangerous so i've been slacking on running

You should try snowshoeing at a good pace. Really good hip flexor workout and gets your heart rate up something noice.
