Hello everyone 39F 5'5" 151.2lbs a little over 2.5 years into full on training and changing lifestyle. Always been active even in my "slow training times." Always had a more athletic build. Family is that way genetically. My metabolism is average. Always eaten pretty healthy, but 100% keep in reeled in during prep. Currently 10 weeks into 3rd Wellness Competition. I'm 5'5" Averaging about a pound a week loss. Goal is to get to 135lbs. I'm 8 weeks out and hit a wall. Trainer has made tweaks, we talk things out but looking for other perspectives. Currently not on any peptides. Staying as clean as possible for this show. Low days are 140 C/130 P/40 F. High days are 160 C/130 P/ 40 F. Right now 4 low 3 high for a given week. Consuming on average 1550 calories. (certain weeks have been higher) I have not done blood work or checked hormones yet. 6 days a week training...5 of those weights, 1 HIIT day. 40 minutes low cardio. Usually elevated treadmill with vest or stairclimber. Looking for any advice or specifically someone that's been in my shoes. First competition I shed more weight than this go round. Second one I was about 4 lbs heavier than the first but more muscle definition. I carry the "extra fat" in my upper quad/ham/glute area. Thanks in advance. Any new perspective is appreciated!!

Bros, you should post up a log, maybe post up the before and after situation that you went through. It'd be cool to see your transformation.

My advice is get a log going. This way we can help you. You give us some information here but without seeing actual pictures and without actually tracking your progression and what you're eating, it's hard to really give you the best advice.

Use the metabolism thing as an advantage. It doesn't always have to be a disadvantage that people think.

High intensity is a really good way to train but some people don't necessarily react great to it. Some people react better to slow training. It just depends; everybody's a little different. Some people react well with a mix.
