Ah yes I am very aware of FEMA....not a good situation there either, but this is compounds it even worse...what it does show is that neither party is good for our civil liberties...

Whoa... does that mean those "drugs support terrorisim" commercials are being put out for a reason? So when you buy pot now, you can get your citizenshp revoked because your money supported terrorism? same go with steroids??? I don't like this shit at ALL

Hopefully the supreme court will resist; i recall a past case where the gov tried to strip a communist of his citizenship and deport him, but the court ruled that unconstitutional.

If we don’t get the word out that government is using terror to control our lives while doing nothing to stop the terrorists, we will deserve what we get - tyranny. But our children won’t deserve it.

I fully disagree with that. I know that the masses will deserve it, but i sure as hell won't-- though the majority dominates the minority, the virtue of democracy. The sheep of this country are far too set in their ways for any of our attempts to talk sense into them, to make an impact. I try and openly discuss things like this with people but most people seem to lack the ability to discern the forest from the trees, or they are just apathetic. While a some aggressive measures may be needed to target terrorism, people are not even close to being as cautious about the measures as they should be. Most people think that these authoritarian measures are "neccessary" (mostly because the tv said so, and everyone else thinks so) and that its ok to use the measures only against terrorists. Of course great political thinkers would strongly disagree.
