Great post..have some slight issues with a couple of points of Nelson's and think Ross's contribution was good for the sole reason of creating debate. Would like Tat's issues addressed by Ross as very pertinent points she raised. Certainly no need to get personal though.

Overall well worth the 20 or 30 minutes it took to read!

needto said something about "80% of the non-pros on this board", implying that 20% of the board is pro. By pro, I am thinking they have their PRO card. I think we can narrow that down to maybe 0.001% of the board...if that.

Guys who compete at a high level? You mean like IFBB? So...pros? Or do you mean someone who has maybe taken first or second in their class at a NPC show? Because I went to a NPC show recently where in a couple classes there were only 2 or 3 competitors. Only one looked "decent". Would we call that "high level"? I wouldn't. I mean, I give them props for getting up there, but let's be realistic.

People who have been in the game for decades, but have never earned their pro card = vets.

You have a point about local comps.

I would consider a top level competitor someone who has competed to the national level in their country.

and dont ask again? some of the answers to your questions are one sided and only what you would like the anwers to be

In all honesty, typing out the same thing 100 x does get to be a bit tedious.

I think there does need to be a bit of personal responsibility for your own body.

It is like that if you give a man a fish thing.

Problem only sorted for today.

If you get people to start to do some reading for themselves, research a bit and then ask questions, they will 'learn how to fish' and feed themselves for life.

Then they also come back with far more interesting questions.
