I live in one of the highersty taxed countries, yet I pay only 40%,. and healthcare, schools, etc is free, so which country pays 70%?

No it's called economics....
In order to provide services for EVERYONE this includes poor people , then all should pay taxes which will then make services available.

Take a look at tuition at private schools. The one I went to is some 10x the tuition of public school. Why?? ? Because those school cannot depend on public contribution to keep thier tuition stable. The whole point of a private school is so that any private source can fund them. With adequate funding the tuition can remain stable. Unfortunately (I'll go ahead and use the word all) all private school funding has not kept up with classes offered , teacher salaries , business expenses, cateteria services, inflation .... The list goes on and on thus the price of attending a private school is much higher then a school funded on taxpayer dollars. Privatizing all schools would be a horrendous idea considering what's going on now.

That only makes things worse because lower and middle class Americans pay more then 46% of thier income in taxes...

we get bombed with too much extra information at school back home. So, all the time that a lets say, 8th grader from Macedonia is gonna come to USA, he/she is placed at a higher grade cause we already covered that material
