So you want to gain weight...

So you want to gain weight… Either you are trying to get more weight for an aas or ph cycle, or you simply are just stuck at your current weight and cannot seem to get past it… Well, I am here to help you achieve these goals…

It starts off with the simple law of thermogenics… To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than burned in a day… This however does not mean that you need to eat bad foods or a lot of fat… You need to increase your calories… This is just the first step…

After you work on this and get the necessary increase, then you need to find the right supplements to aid in your weight gain… There are a lot of products out there that claim to build mass or help with weight gain that fall very short… They are either loaded with fat and terrible macros or simply do not do what is promised… Luckily, there are some products out there that can help you achieve your goals…

The first and probably most popular product out right now to help with this is N2BULK… There is a surge in usage of this product on the internet and the results are simply amazing… N2BULK as a stand alone will deliver huge results… read about it here… https://www.mrsupps.com/Products/43/N2+Bulk/

Another excellent product to aid in your goal is GEAR… Gear is an advanced protein delivery system and nutrition octane booster… This is a STAPLE SUPPLEMENT, meaning it is something you should always have on hand… Gear- The best protein supplemet around.

Creatine is another big supplement in terms of helping you put on size… There are thousands of creatine products out there but there is one that stands out amongst the rest… ANCIENT STRENGTH… why does it stand out? Well… ancient strength includes CREATINE PYRUVATE, which can cause a higher peak level of creatine and a potentially greater absorption and slower elimination rate. It also containes CREATINE PHOSPHATE, which is a metabolite of creatine, a phophorylated form of creatine that provides a quickly usable reserve of high energy phosphates in muscle tissue… Ancient Strength is the most effective form of creatine!

One of the hidden gems out there is a product called ONSLAUGHT… Onslaught acts as a recovery but is one of the most versatile products out there… It not only has the protein that you need, but also contains a ton of creatine and glutamine, making it one of the most comprehensive supplements on the market today… The most comprehensive post workout supplement available. Period!

One more necessary supplement to aid in your weight gain is the N2Matrix… I absolutely love this because it is a combo of whey isolate and micellar casein… This is is the best way to take your protein on a daily basis… N2 Matrix is a perfect mix of casein protein and whey protein isolate.

So now you have the necessary supplements to help with your weight gain… You can stack as many of these as you like and watch the weight come on… You also need to get your calories above the level of being burned and you will be well on your way to making the gains that you desire!!

Great thread...all excellent information.

Yeah good post again dylan. Alot of beginners think that they need to do a cycle to gain size, which is not always true. A good healthy diet with the right foods and supps like N2Bulk and Gear like you mentioned can get them alot of size natuarally and going in the right direction. Good job bro.

thanks guys... i thought this would be of some assistance to everyone out there that always has the excuse... "my metabolism is too high" or "i just can't gain weight" None of us are going to buy that shit, so I hope everyone with these thoughts takes the time to read this and learn from it!

People should keep in mind that all you need2 grow is food. All the exotic supplements out their should be of least priority.

and it clearly states at the beginning of the post that upping your calories is the first priority... but to help get over the hump when you are stuck, these supplements will help to get over that... just like aas or ph helps you get past a plateau for strength and muscles...

the beginning CLEARLY says to up your calories first...

There are no laws or thermogenics. There are laws of thermodynamics, however. Thermogenics are drugs that increase [body] heat through metabolic stimulation. If one were to take thermogenics while trying to gain weight, they would see the opposite affect of their desired result; they would lose weight.

But, I will assume, for sake of argument, that you meant the law(s) of thermodynamics. In this case we are interested in the first law of thermodynamics, and the first law only. We are not concerned with entropy (the second and third laws), nor are we concerned with the equilibrium of bodies (zeroth law).

If energy in is greater than the outflow of energy and our state shall change [growth]. Aka eat a lot of food, it will help you grow.

But but but how can we be sure we've exhausted the importance of the first paragraph??

How much have you gained on the supplements you have listed?

If one cannot understand the order of the listings in coordinance with the importance, i don't know what else i can do... that's why its split into sections...

I have had considerable gains with all the products listed or i wouldn't bother even talking about them... and if you do searches and research you will find that so many have had success with one or another of these... I am not saying to take them all at the same time or that they are all you need... I am simply stating these are other ways to help pass a plateau... there are too many people who think they are stuck at a certain level... which is not the case... why do we use aas? to get to the next level when were stuck... why do we use weight gainers or mass builders? to get to the next level when were stuck... like i said, and i will say it one more time... your diet is and will always be number 1 in terms of pretty much everything... but if/when something else is needed, these are excellent options... i dont know how else to put it or break it down...

Is English your first or second language?

"Considerable" is subjective. How many pounds? I'm not saying they do not work, I'm saying that the obvious first choice is understated by quite a bit, even thought you had breezed over it in your introductory paragraph.

Maybe elaborate more on increasing food intake, because that's what's most important. 80% of this write-up is about what supplements to take, and no offense, sounds like an advertisement.

i have more education you could ever dream of so please do not go there... when you are at work and typing quickly in between customers its not exactly easy to do...

even "thought"... do YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?

you know, if you want to comment on post its one thing, but to be a prick is another thing altogether... if you don't like something, fine, you are entitled to your opinion but seriously, if you have nothing better to do than be an english teacher, change professions...

And if you new shit, you would know I have posted several diets for people on how to accomplish many different things so I am not sure how you can think I am not advocating the importance of diet...

There were quite a few supplements to list that I know can be of help, so I took the time to give OPTIONS... I didn't say to use them all at once nor did I imply they would be a miracle to gain 20 lbs... I did say, again, that they will help to get over a plateau... it could be 5 pounds and as far as N2BULK goes, probably ten... I have seen many people get 10 lbs. off it in a month to month and a half... Of course, things like gear and onslaught are aiding in providing more recovery and protein synthesis... they all do different things... combining them with a great diet can lead to helping gain some weight... That is the point of the post... so if there is a mixup along the way, i am sorry but I am known for talking about diet constantly on here... So this was meant to incorporate other options...

We obviously also know that people react differently to differnt things... Some people may gain 10 lbs. on something while others may gain only 5... Some people gain 10-15 lbs. on certain aas or ph's and others barely respond... Nothing is a gurantee, but there are plenty of good options and the chances of the supplements I had listed helping are higher than others... At least according to the positive feedback... and from personal use as well... So that is all the point I was trying to make man... Im sorry its such a problem for you and hopefully you can see where I am coming from... If not, well, Im sorry...

I used to think I was an ectomorph, truth is I was just a dumbass :-> I never ate. Now I eat till I'm sick every single day all day and the weight just keeps piling on. Just finished a bag of N2bulk, really awesome stuff, I'm going to point out one personal con. Serving size, it's massive. I feel like I should be getting 1000 calories when I drink 3 scoops of this stuff ha. Anyway, I found a good medium, 2 scoops and a scoop of peanut butter with almond milk makes it go down easy. Taste is great, no issues there!

Waiting on my whey2build cake batter to come in!

Thats great to hear bro... and the combination of more food and n2bulk is excellent... im glad that it worked out for you! Nice mix you have there too!

I just got my cake batter on Saturday... Your in for a treat! =)

Good post Dylan, there will always be the devils advocates out there that will question your logic, shit we all know it is food, hard work in the gym, and consistency that makes muscles grow...without food people will not benefit from AAS or supplements, but the do play a critical role in the scenario and definitely help us get to where we want to be a bit faster...like N2 Bulk, which I have not tried yet due to I am trying to lean out at the moment so practicing the laws of thermogenisis at moment lol...fortunately for me I know how to put on the weight, its just taking off the fat that comes along with the weight gain...anyway, thanks for putting in the time not only on this thread but the others you have done too bro, at least you are taking the time to share your knowledge with others and help them understand some of what they can try to break past a plateau or having a hard time due to being a hard gainer...food is the most anabolic compound we can ingest, but supplements, proteins, and BCAAs have their part as well...people will always try to argue the other points, that is what is great about.these threads...hear both sides right?

1. If you have more education than I can dream of then you could have at least taken the time to google thermodynamics. Have you studied the subject? I have, at many levels.
2. I realized I come off as a prick, but if you proclaim to know something you can expect to be scrutinized, right? Debate is important or you just have a bunch of sheep grazing around.
3. I never questioned your knowledge of dieting, etc. I really don't care if you know everything about it or not.
4. I realize you've been helpful on this board, so it's not a personal attack. I'd rather see you posting than not posting.

I have to admit, the same thought crossed my mind. lol
If a person is going to spout science, they should probably use the correct scientific terms. Using a drastically wrong word makes a person appear like they're trying to sound smarter than they are. But, I agree overall with Dylans post; nutrition is the key and quality supplements are the booster (and in some cases a necessary one)

Yea man, I have studied health and fitness for more than a decade... Here's the problem I have with you...

Do you realize the amount of time and effort I put into this site and MANY OTHER FORUMS on a DAILY BASIS? I wake up extra early to post, stay up fucking late to post and do so throughout the day at work, risking getting in trouble, just to help people...

So along the way, the chances for a mistake here or there is highly likely considering the output I produce every fucking day... So excuse me, for making a one word mistake while typing as fast as i can in the morning to try to get a big posting up for everyone's benefit... Excuse me for making a simple mistake... I have a masters degree, and I didn't obtain that by not knowing what the fuck im doing... So for you to EVER throw that into question over one mistake with the extreme output I am producing says a lot about you... Its people like you that ruin shit with your smartass comments...

Second, I totally agree with debate being good and that was NEVER a problem here... I have NO PROBLEM with people throwing things into question or having an opinion... That's what makes this site so great... and I was under the assumption you were a smarter guy who would be good to kick it with but when you question other things, intelligence for instance, then you've crossed the line... unless its warranted, which it was not...

You obviously know I do a tremendous amount of posting and I appreciate the fact that you want me to keep posting... Just realize that none of us are perfect so a slip up here and there is totally possible... However a "did you mean this" is all that would take, not the personal attack you made... I don't know everything there is to know but I have an abundant amount of knowledge that I am trying to share with everyone... We learn new things on a daily basis, especially a person like me, who is constantly updating their knowledge... So we can all learn from each other as well... I hope this concludes all this and we can stick to talking about the issues at hand...

I just want to give people different options to help them break plateaus... It all starts with diet and training... when you hit a plateau, then these can help you break the plateau... That's all I am trying to say... I hope that this serves as some help to everyone...

excellent post brother... said perfectly... i agree, debate on the points is excellent and that's what is all about... everyone has an opinion, experience, thought, etc... and its nice to hear them all... everything has their part, just like you said... its all about getting past barriers... it starts with hard work and knowledge and that drive for excellence... the aas, ph's, supps, they just enhance it! =)

Good diet and heavy lifting is necessary. AAS will help significantly. Supplements are optional, if you opt to take them, you don't need five or six of them knocking about your system at any one time. I've known some guys to get huge literally taking no supplements at all, just huge amounts of red meat and pounding it hard at the gym. Others swear by their BCAAs. Personally only if I think I'm gonna have a bad day at the gym I'll take a bit of CEE. Protein shakes are handy post workout. I've always been a believer in keeping supplements to a minimum, people have got big and strong in the past before most of these products were available. I won't argue that in some cases they make things easier, however in my opinion most looking for strength and/or size gains should prioritise eating a lot of good clean food.

Dylan you can't win for losing...lol they're on your case today bro.

Facts are facts though, and he clearly stated that upping your calories comes first. It's hard to be a member of EF for more than 10 minutes without knowing Dylan knows his shit when it comes to diet.

In order of importance, getting big comes down to

1: Diet.
2: Training
3: Consistency
4: Research
5: Supps/AAS/Other

I've tried every supplement he mentioned with the exception of Onslaught, and can say with conviction they are very effective. Stacking them would be extremely beneficial to anyone looking to build muscle who has the correct diet and workout plan.

Dylan, next time try to write like fucking Hemmingway and maybe the English Lit 4 professors from Harvard Grad program will leave you alone. Oh, and no excuses about having a job and shit to do, just sounds weak...nice life..

If I want to gain weight I just drive past a pizza place really slow and I gain weight on fumes alone:-(

Gomad's cool if you wanna get fat. Much better ways to gain weight than gomad in my opinion.
what better way is there for sheer weight, because thats what this post is about...

yes you will gain some fat, but your muscular gains will far outreach your muscular gains on a 'lean bulking' diet... how much fat you gain will vary and cardio and the right diet can keep that fairly minimal...
there is no bulking supplement out there that can put more size on you than milk, period...

essentially this is what dyllan talks about in the introductory paragraph before it starts to sound like a sales pitch ( i know you didnt mean it too, but it does sound that way)... UPPING YOUR CALORIES, and that is simply what gomad is all about...

This is a perfect summary of what D was trying to get across...and the order of the list is spot on. Some people like students, people who don't have the luxury of having a microwave or kitchen at their disposal to make or reheat their food during the day or work shift, or who gets stuck in unexpected meetings need the ability to put down some quality protein, meal replacements, or BCAAs so they don't skip a meal...that is where supplements come in handy. I use protein powder to make homemade protein bars for this reason and keep 2 in my lunchbox daily at work...easy, nutritious, and for spur of the moment situations when work or duty calls. I too am a firm believer that there is no replacement for food...I.do not have a Masters degree, or have studied nutrition in school, all of my education is from following my passion and this lifestyle, and trial and error of worthless supplements, when I utilize supplements they are from a few select places and that is it. Food is the #1 anabolic substance you can ingest, just as I said above...and the order you listed is perfect. Thanks again for a great write up and debate thread...I love this forum! So many great minds here!

LOLL seriously right? thanks for the support bro... I like a good debate but damn, its like people like to pin point one particular part and not read the whole thing...

The fact remains, that this post was intended for people that are trying to gain weight in a natty way to either prepare themselves for a cycle because they are underweight or people that are too young to cycle or people that just prefer a more natty way...

And for the hundredth millionth fucking time, I will say it one last time... Eating right is the number 1 way to do this... Getting the proper nutrients is the key... HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE REACHING A PLATEAU THAT YOU CAN'T SURPASS, THESE SUPPLEMENTS I LISTED WERE A FEW THAT COULD POSSIBLY HELP YOU TO GET PAST A PLATEAU... THAT WAS THE POINT... TO HELP PEOPLE AND GIVE THEM SEVERAL OPTIONS...

Thanks again for the support bro...

No, you are just a prick, lol, however, you are also correct. Excellent posts!

guys we are not gonna have this whose dick is bigger contest in this forum. state your opinion, counter it, and if you still don't agree then agree to disagree and move on.. its that simple.

and please don't troll threads, if you feel the need to nitpick a post for every little thing then you are probably best served starting up your own thread and making your points instead of just harassing someone.

and i'm not targeting a specific person in this thread, but just reminding you of these simple rules we have in place to prevent testosterone infected fights from breaking out :)
I can smell the testosterone up in this thread and its about to boil over.

and PS english is my 2nd language but i tend to get my point across somehow on here anyway and people tend to understand me quite well :)
