Snowiest November Ever. 2009

November 2009 will be a month to remember. With 7 days left in the month, Whistler has already set a monthly snowfall record.

206inches of snow has fallen. That's over 17 feet of snow.

Who else likes lots of snow?

I like lots of snow in NE USA - can you send some there. Add some cold wind with it plesae.

Thanks

I like visiting lots of snow. I don't like living in it. In fact, I'd be perfectly happy to live somewhere it never snowed.

LOL exactly on both counts.

my parents have a place in Steamboat Springs CO and the slopes there open in 2 days. Visiting is fun, but I much prefer living in Atlanta where we might get 1 day of snow each year.

You've been here without me knowing it? Damn, next time you head to CO hit me up.

As for me I can't imagine living somewhere that doesn't have snow.

Parents own a house there. (actually own, not one of timeshare deals). I only go up with them maybe once each year, but they're up there probably 4 or 5 times each season.

If it snowed in the mountains and not in the valley I'd love it. i hate the way the salty snow gets your floor mats wet and then they get soaked with that filthy water. Dry cleaning bill gets bigger, shoes get kinda meh looking, car's always dirty. If I didn't have my kiddo I'd be somewhere else.

Steamboat's awesome I grew up straight east of there. Well if you do make it up let me know, you can come to my gym and help me scare the cardio bunnies.

Just so we are all on the same page. This is a snowfall measurement, measured at mid-mountain elevation - not in the city. Lots and lots of rain in the city.
