Shoule I use split training while loosing weight?

Hey everyone, I'm working out to loose weight, and to get in better overall condition. Would it be wise for me to work out one bodypart, once a week using a 4 day split training? Or would it be better for me to work out my upper body on Monday/Thursday, and my lowerbody on Tuesday/Friday?

Hmmmm, I started doing different shit each week to try and cut up. I'll do three sets for each bodypart in one day, all low weight and high reps. Then take a day off and hit just legs. I have started doing cardio in the morning only and weight training in the evening. We'll see how it goes. I have heard that for getting in shape cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is the way to go.
 
human shell -- how advanced are you with weight lifting? if you are not a beginner, there is no need for you to do lower/upper body. you definitely have to do a split to be able to hit every muscle group hard.
also, train heavy. forget all this high-rep-for-cutting shit. given, if you are dieting right, you will be weaker, but you still have to lift heavy in order to keep your muscle. do a couple of exercises per bodypart with high reps, but keep the first two exercises heavy.
 
I go heavy, 4 days on, 1 off. Cardio (running) in the AM on an empty stomach.
