SHIT!!!!! So I blew my knee out today.....I have a question.

I'm having knee troble myself right now but have not had time to see a doctor.
What are some of the signs of your torn miniscus?

In typing its real hard to explain. It would take an hour. I personally know because the EXACT same thing happened to my other knee. Every thing I have felt from the second it popped was identical. My ortho explained to me exactly what happened to my left knee and what happens inside because of the injury. So it was very obvious when it happened.
Basically if you put pressure on it like trying to pivot or push off the torn side of the meniscus lets the bone slip out of place slightly where it pivots. It feels like your whole leg gives out and buckles. It sucks ass.

So its definatley a torn meniscus. Going to do an MRI asap to see the extent of the damage. I'm going to get it fixed instead of let it heal on its own since its outpatient surgery and is just a scope proceedure. Doc says I will be g2g in apx 2 weeks after it.
Sucks walking right now cause my goddamn knee is full of fluid so theres a shitload of pressure on it. They offered to drain it today but I told her I would pass on the whole needle inside my joint idea. She said it will subside within a week and up to 2 or 3.

yeah, so ....i am captain jackass, Update.......Got my MRI monday night, showed torn meniscus as expected. Got my right leg brace wednesday. they ordered it for me whether I needed it or not. So the swelling was almost gone and alot of fluid gone. So I was fucking around testing it to see how it felt and if there was any slippage and if so, how much.
So....yep....blew it all to hell this time. Dunno the extent of the damage yet but I had to go to the ER last night and get a full leg immobilizer and crutches. Cant put any weight on my leg at all. out of 1-10 pain is a fuckin 11. Going to ortho in the morning and likely straight to surgery.
