thanx bro, it's hit and miss. it's sooooo easy up to age 12 - 13, but with
the introduction of testosterone.....wow.

when my two oldest boys turned 13 - 14, i was like, who the hell are these
teenagers living in my house lol. do i know these guys?

now i am an old fart who doesn't know anything. all of my experiences and
advice are outmoded. i am an antique, better left alone on the shelf lol
teenagers are all knowing, omnipotent, if you will. wtf?


when i get a compliment from my teenagers, i relish it.

When I was a teen my dad wouldn't even buy me a cheeseburger,lol. He was like, "eat the food I bought for u at home or get a job". But if I did something great, I was rewarded. Hell, he bought me a car after I finished Paramedic school. It was way more fast-paced than chemistry stuff at UMKC.

That's awesome bro I know as soon as I wanted expensive clothes my mom said well you better get a job. So I started cutting grass at 13 and it made me appreciate my stuff more than if it was given to me.
