Search warrant/controlled delv. on 1 days notice?

how is it for across the boarders? when a package sent through usps gets to customs, does customs need a search warrant to open the package. I don't think so

customs can open and inspect packages, but they can't arrest you or ticket you. They CAN notify the Postal Inspector who in turn CAN call local police (or feds if big bust). The local cops CAN coordinate with your local PO and do a controlled delivery. However with all these steps your package would almost certainly not be on time.

I wouldnt worry if it's nickels and dimes.....on the other hand if we're talking 1000's...then maybe.
