I tried so hard yesterday, but I ended up dropping the ball. I felt like I'd been hit my a MAC Truck, was totally drained. I skipped the gym, went home, got into my sweats and curled up in front of the TV. I ate what I could just grab. Didn't feel like cooking. I stopped at the store on the way home and I was looking at the doughnuts, but opted for a B4L Fudge Brownie Pro Bar instead - hoping it would curb the sweets craving. I also got a cheeseball. I was staring at summer sausage too, but skipped it.

So when I got home, this is how it looked:

1 piece Cornbread

...argue with ex

2 WASA w/2 TBSP Cheddar Cheese Cheeseball

...argue MORE with ex

a few hot dill pickles
a few SF sweet pickles

...turned phone off so there would be no more arguing with ex

2 Cups Popcorn

there was probably more that I'm forgetting....can't remember at the moment. :rolleyes: :worried:

Well I would have done worse damage then that!!!! Probably a really good time to go to the gym.... Take your frustrations out on the gym equipment and feel better, andddddddd GET more compliments :)

Urrrggggg, I felt like I had cement blocks on my shoulders all day long yesterday.....absolutely NO energy....I was just zapped.:( I probably would have done more damage, but I deliberately didn't buy crap this week because I knew IT was coming. I turn into a BEAST!!!!

...mmm, yes, pb bunnies with chocolate sounds VERY nice right now! - but there would be WAY too much guilt in that.....until Sunday!

Most of the time it does, but if I know I'm going out to eat, I'll eat my normal pro pancakes and clean stuff so I don't feel guilty about eating whatever at dinner. If you see a Sunday that says FREE FOR ALL on it ... I was REALLY BAD!!!! lol

I get Cousin Willy's - it's pretty low in carbs 3.5 per serving....I just usually only eat about 2 cups at a time. I got a little OC last night! :eek2:

The CYBEX Arc Trainer - - they recently got one of these at the gym. I've been on it once.

What makes this one so different or better than the ellipticals w/or w/o arm motion that they already have?

You have to TRY it .. I hate the ellipitcals., esp compared to the Arc ... definitely a preference, a good change and a better w/o IMO ... :)

Change is good... esp. change in cardio :D

I'd google it, this PC bites I can't post specific comparative details right now.

I feel it mostly in my quads and if I use the arm things, I feel it in my rear delts too. I like the Precor EFX the most though, because I can really push through with my heels and target glutes.

How can you injure yourself on an elliptical??! lol

**ok, I had EVERY INTENTION of doing 45 minutes, calves and abductors.....About the last 10 minutes of cardio, my stomach started to churn. I was tired when I started and I guess my body just had ENOUGH. My mouth was watering all the way home. I managed to keep everything down. Had to lay down on the couch for a few minutes to feel better. :rolleyes:

So I woke up yesterday with my shoulder in excrutiating (sp) pain. Same one that I should have gone to PT for in the early 90's. I've been taking Ibuprofin to deal. I'm not sure what to do about it. I clean tanning beds all day long with that shoulder, so I can't rest it either. It's still bothering me today. Getting ready to pop some more Ibuprofin.

Probably doesn't help that I was outside all day yesterday digging in the mulch and moving landscape around. Oh well, it had to be done. :whatever:

I did 15 min on the Cybex arctrainer this evening and oddly enough it was different than the ellipticals and it was a nice change.

It is a nice change, isn't it? I did a change up tonight and jumped on a bike - something I almost NEVER do! That was a nice change too.

I think no bake chocolate cookies, or cheesecake, mmmm peanut butter, or even loads of cheese and chips and salsa... Yep those would do that for me :) Sorry I just food gunked your journal! :heart:

That soy sauce 'l getcha! I'm not a big fan of ss anyway, so I use half of what the recipe calls for. Now the rice wine......THAT'S a different story! lol j/k - didn't use a gallon or anything.......ha ha ha

Well, I can really feel the muscles working when I use those machines, so I just decided to keep them for a while and see how it goes. I've only been using them for a couple of weeks now, so I need to give it a few more weeks to see if I'm getting a result from it. I'll let ya' know.......it def couldn't HURT any!!!! lol

Heehee, that's true! :D It's just really a time issue since when I do legs, I focus on large movements like leg press, squats, leg curls and leg extensions. I should probably go in an extra evening to work on fine-tuning whenever I can.

I am interested to hear your take on these.... Persoanlly they do nothing for me except give people another way for the coochie monsta's to get a free shot ... (bad experience yes ...)

Muhhaaaa Yeah.. I know that one!!! I use the abductor machine but that's it. Usually it's death if they look at me!
 
Have you ladies ever tried crossbody BB lunges? Good for the ab/adductors as well...

Why the :eek2: at the calories, SG? You're training extra hard, so I am sure your body needed it!
 
I haven't used these machines in YEARS....lol Always thought all the sissy girls used them and didn't want to be in that category. But when I started this last change up, I figured I'd give them a shot. They're facing the wall, so no coochie monster shots here! lol

I like lunges and walking lunges too. I'll try the crossbody BB lunges one of these days. Have done all the other stuff. I want to do something that doesn't get my HR up so I can concentrate on working the muscle - make sense? My tongue is always dragging the floor after lunges from fatige from the lunges themselves, but also from the cardio that goes with it.

Well, I'm TRYING to keep my calories under 1500 right now. I'm supposed to be cutting. I'm just always HUNGRY!!!! :chomp:
