Yeah I may eventually do that. I already went through the consultation... The only thing was it was either train for competition, or wait another year... I figured training for a comp was more important. :heart:
 
Looking great as always...I'm glad you put your initial photo up finally because now we truly get to appreciate the progress you've made. I wish I could tighten up like you. I'm getting smaller, but I'm still kinda squishy and saggy. I think I need to just get stronger like you to lift heavier.

It was lifting heavy for me that did it. More weights and less cardio (bulking). I wish my skin was tighter in certain areas too though. Right now I'm going lighter weights and more reps to try to get things to pop more....we'll see .......

ya'....not fond of that first pic. Notice the "confidence" change between the first one and the last one.... lol

I almost took some pics last night. I have veins peeking in my hip flexors :) , and anterior delts :D ..... but nothing in the abs yet : :bawling: To see them come out is awesome for me due to my thick skin :rolleyes: Some people have veins popping everywhere with no effort, it takes a lot to get mine out, so I'm pretty happy about it.

I don't know what my goal is....I'm just keepin' on until I decide otherwise. I'll be doing this until Treil's show though for sure.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

Diet isn't BAD, but I'm not meeting the goals I've set for myself. I PREFER my protein to be in the upper 40's. I've been missing my mark......not for long though........

**I haven't had much time to log EVERY day....but just an fyi.....I HAVE been getting the AM cardio in!!!!! YEY!!!!!!!!

***This morning I was getting ready to leave the gym and a girl (use to be one of my tanning clients) stopped me. (she's pretty much in comp. shape) She asked if I was doing the big competition here in July and I said no, are you? and she said she was too busy with clinicals to do it, but she was planning on it until recently. She told me I should REALLY do the show - I was flattered.....I told her she should REALLY do the show....lol

Just so happens she was a runner up until not so long ago. Her bf is a trainer at my gym and when they started dating, he got her into lifting. She's added 10 lbs of muscle since they've been together (don't know how long that's been). She really looks great, so it was quite a compliment she gave me.

I'm planning on going to the show, but I'm not competing. Have no desire to get all nerved up. My first trainer promotes this show. It's the state show (meaning the biggest and best in the state) if anyone would like to go with or meet up! I just talked to Tina and have two front row VIP's reserved. Tickets aren't even being sold yet to the public.

July 8, 2006: Indiana State Bodybuilding/Midwestern States Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships in Fort Wayne, IN.

This show goes on during our summer festival, so all of downtown is blocked off and people are walking around everywhere.

Gitcher hind end on that cardio equipment, girl! I know, it can really be a drag, but I'm starting to enjoy it again.

Egg Casserole....hmmmm....trying to remember.....

6 Whole Eggs
6 Egg Whites
2 Cups lite (or ff) Sour Cream
(mix all of the above until creamy)

on the bottom of the baking dish you can put whatever you want. I used a can of diced tomatoes and green chili's and also chopped up 1/2 of a fresh hot pepper and threw it in with the can of stuff.

on top of that, you add a layer of shreaded cheese and then pour the egg mixture over it all and bake 45 min @ 350.

No more rendevous.......we'll have to find someone else to live thru - myself included.........my choice btw!

mix it all up in the blender and there you go! I sometimes add some SF Blackberry Jam to the mix. I will also use soy flour sometimes to cut the carbs down a little.

When I went back to train last night, another girl came up to me and was asking me questions about where I've trained before, how long I've been training, etc. She was full of compliments. She looks great herself. One of those short muscle people who bulks easy....I told her I'm jealous of that....

Then this morning I go in and find out that there was a discussion about me over the weekend between employees, trainers, managers, etc. I guess the comps were flying everywhere. Makes a girl feel quite good! :twirl:

I definately recommend the multigrain and nut, with sliced banana and peanut butter on top :p :p :p Now thats good stuff!!! Ok, now I'm hungry :FRlol:

I tried so hard yesterday, but I ended up dropping the ball. I felt like I'd been hit my a MAC Truck, was totally drained. I skipped the gym, went home, got into my sweats and curled up in front of the TV. I ate what I could just grab. Didn't feel like cooking. I stopped at the store on the way home and I was looking at the doughnuts, but opted for a B4L Fudge Brownie Pro Bar instead - hoping it would curb the sweets craving. I also got a cheeseball. I was staring at summer sausage too, but skipped it.

So when I got home, this is how it looked:

1 piece Cornbread

...argue with ex

2 WASA w/2 TBSP Cheddar Cheese Cheeseball

...argue MORE with ex

a few hot dill pickles
a few SF sweet pickles

...turned phone off so there would be no more arguing with ex

2 Cups Popcorn

there was probably more that I'm forgetting....can't remember at the moment. :rolleyes: :worried:
