Had a dream I was with some friends last night (I have know idea who they were right now, but it'll come to me) at a club where the entertainment was some girl hip hop singer (beyonce, MJ Blige - somone like that). She was well known - I knew [of] her, but she didn't look like any of the hip hop chics out there right now. She was pretty classy and not acting like a ho like most of them can. Nice skirt suit - night clubish tho - nothing hangin' out...lol

So anyway, I'm walking up to the bar for a drink with my friends behind me when I see a GUY hip hop dude I know [of] walking up to the bar in front of me. IT WAS LUDA!!! LOL He was cool and acted like he was just out to do the whole clubbin' thing.......the girl got called to the stage. Never saw her after that......

Long story short.....that's about all I remember! WTF does all THAT mean?!?!?! :lmao:

That's a killer leg work out!

Just a comment from experience - if your strength is going up significantly, make sure you stetch! Your muscles can maybe handle the weight but your joints have their own limitations... :)

Funny thing.....I don't think my reps on the last set were logged right. I pushed out 12 - which means I can DEF go heavier. The gym owner told me our sled is 110 lbs (which I don't count). I def surprised myself :eek2: lol

1 cup anpb
water

Put oats in blender and make them into a flour (not necessary, but I like the texture better). Put oats in a bowl with the protein powder and anpb. Stir and add water as needed to moisten. Roll into balls and freeze.

Makes 19 protein balls - info. per ball:

Cal: 138.95
Fat: 7.79
Carb: 9.26
Pro: 16.42

Thanks for posting this, SG! I am thinking of solid snacks (no protein bars) for my 6 hr flight to the west coast this Friday and I think this may just fit the bill. But I have to make sure they are totally solid and not gel-like though :rolleyes: Part of me is just thinking of taking grilled chicken at this point.

They don't turn to gel. There are enough solids in there to give them substance. YUM :p

I stayed away from protein powder for a few months because it was upsetting my stomach. I can't drink it straight anymore, that's a sure thing. I can use it for cooking still tho. So I'll keep it for that.

They just painted the DBs at my gym so they are dark grey/black....no purty lil pink ones....

As far as the 40's go, I have a hard time getting them up, but once they are - I'm rockin'! lol I'm having a problem with my....uh....let's see what Treil would call it.....Flexor Carpi Radialis...(big pat on the back for me :D ), the part by the bone. Just in the last week I'm having to massage it and lifting heavy weight hurts. Doesn't hurt when the weight is up, but it hurts putting the db down. :(

I'm the same way!! My husband has to help me get them in the air & as long as my grip is good - then I'm fine.....Last time I tried it, my grip wasn't secure so I gave up after 2 tries.....just dropped them to the floor....
