Ya judo would be fine..... as I said the style is not really of the greatest importance to me as much as finding them a good teacher. I have also been reading a lot on systema which would seem like a great way for a younger fighter to devolop a good flow and not just know useless technique. But yes, I would be very interested in getting them into Judo.

Its the

VERY VERY BEST that you can get to .

When I say

VERY VERY BEST

I mean that the guy has Students that Compete in K-1 , Have WON World Championship Kyokushun tourneys , and that have MMA Records to be Respected ALONG with him being a world Breaking Champ for quite a number of years running ... The guy is like Harvard , MIT and Yale all Rolled into one , and unfortunately the rest of whats in your Area is about like Communiy College .

Basically the training wasnt that great and I felt it wasnt worth it for the money. Nor was I really impressed with the trainers at the gym, so he only did it for a while (was jus doing basics for most of the time). Trying to get them both into some kinda Ma style they can stick to.

maybe the trainers were holding back due to his age
or they might have not been any good
if you can find a better boxing school in your area that's a solid choice
and there is generally a few choices of boxing schools in any area
which is why I tend to recommend it a lot
same with Judo
