So it seems that your shoulders have gotten a tad strong - congrats...

70's are a bitch to get up. I embarrased myself tonight struggling to get them up. On my 2nd set I had some one hand one to me - much easier!

That is heavy on the Modified DB's. So, let me make sure I understand it correctly... Sitting on flat bench, lying over (chest on legs) and go from there - neutral grip I assume.

Yeah... the don't quite pop up as nicely as the 50's. Those 5 reps were really hard for me. I wont' be pushing them. That's just extra volume/workload... I'll be adding weight to Push Presses for sure.

lol, a hand off buddy is nice to have... good thinkin' I'll have to recruit someone next time just to save energy :)

Instead of the bench this time, i used a seated OHP "bench" or chair thing that i did my DB OHP's on. Yup, chest down - grip facing Behind you - lead up with elbows not hands. You'll be doing more weight when you "feel" it... it just worked for me tonight, last time i was doing 25's lol

Looking forward to seeing what you put together.

+1 on the strong shoulders. Another month or two of ab work and your core should be solid enough that you don't need the belt for standing work.

another +1. I know you probably think Al and I are working on commission for Aasgaard Co. at this point, but if you're getting ready to figure out what you'll be doing in the gym for the next few months, this would be the perfect time to get it.

Uhhh yeah. Well. No flaming nessesary ... here it is: i'm wearing the belt not for core instability but for not wanting any more core thickening than what's already been done. I'm wide enough as I want to get there.

AL: lol, I know i know... I should have got it today, but there was overstock of bands on APT - and of course "limited supply"... soooooo... i got #2's for like 15 bucks... that's cheap... had to throw in a shirt too, can always use more workout T's.

If one of you guys wants to sell me a used one, hell yah. (I doubt your ready to part with it yet though) I'll pick one up... sooner rather than later hopefully.

CS: I'm ++1 :) I hear ya... but i'm not planning on NOT lifting.. i'm in this for the long haul. I'll just have you guys review my plan for now and once I pick it up i'll review it again if i see flaws or something.

lol, no flaming intended. Given that you're not squatting heavy yet, standing overhead work would be one good way to develop/gauge core strength. Just something to consider and weigh along with aesthetic goals.

GM's > hypers?

My ab strength is 100% improved... I think I should do some lower work if I don't do G.P. Rows.

I will access GP Rows again next week. Squatting, DL's in that same week before really fucked me up. Hopefully if I don't try DL's I can front squat and G.P. row is what I hope.

i dont mean to sound like an ass, but what are GP rows? im doing JS Rows and ive done Yates Rows, but what are GP Rows???
