Feel like Sh!T, I'm never going to get over this stupid cold.. feel like hurling, throat is still jacked.

Soreness = just a minor ache here or there, but pretty much recovered

Food =
I put together a weekday diet, and weekend diet
I was shooting for a 40-30-30 at 1800 cals. We'll see how this works, and it may be adjusted.
I have been having issues getting food in because I have no appetite, and now I can't even taste food so it doesn't even matter.

multi, saw palmetto, triflex, DHEA
M1 3/4C oatmeal, 5oz. chicken
M2 1 serving almonds
calcium/magnesium, Vitamin E and C
M3 5oz. chicken, 1C lettuce, 1/8C onion, 1/4C mushroom, 1C berries
M4 (42g) protein, 1C apple, 5g glutamine, NO2, 1 scoop powerade, amino acids
Weights
M5 (42g) protein, 5g creatine, 5g glutamine, 1 scoop powerade
M6 4 oz. Lean Turkey, 1C lettuce, 1/8C onion, 1/4C mushroom
M7 2T PB, 3 egg whites
1809 cals, 52g fat, 142g carb, 199g protein
46% protein, 27% fat, 27% carbs
If I need more carbs I'll drop my protein/fat to make the macros balance a bit more that way.

Weekend diet is still in the making.. but is pretty similar if I get the meals in me.

Notes:
Tonight Hams, Glutes, abs. This cold will not hold me back

Trying to get these darn things to grow! Shadow put together a plan but I'm in need of some adjusting because my body was getting immune to it and he has been mia. So this past week I switched it up a bit and I killed them... but what I have for thursday' leg work is to much so I need to add more to monday's...
Mon=hams, glutes, abs
Thurs = quads, calves
Right now
I would love to know what you think on plyos. I don't know a whole lot on them. I have read up on them and I did them last year during my bulk with my trainer, but what do you usually superset them with?

I like to take an exercise like extensions, curls, squats whatever you want and superset it with a ploy type lower body exercise like pop squats, 50 m long jump leaps, jump sqauts, lateral skip squats & jump lunges.

I do the same thing on chest days, I superset ie) bench press with mountain climbers where I am getting my heart rate up, and not allowing an active recovery. This may not what your after, but just to switcher up its nice and a good leg shaver! :)

Have you had any type of surgery JC? I would suggest you stay away from any unstationary movt's, such as those I suggested. Your putting your knee's in a unstable environment when u leave the ground, which makes you also more suceptable to land in imperfect angles, which could aggravate that injury or even worse cause more damage. Theres way aroud everything....you could superset with ball wall squats with no weight, triple threats (ham curls supine on ball) or repeated step ups for 30 secs to 1 min b/w sets........not sure if this is helping you...

Yup - I had ACL graft (cadaver graft) surgery & it will be 6 months post-op on Oct. 4th....

Just trying to get new ideas on legs since all my leg work must be uni-lateral (right leg only) 'cept for squats & SLDLs.....I won't do leg extensions tho....

Yep I used to do Plyos : Jump lunges, jump squats, jump partial squats, Jump step ups followed up with the butt blaster and something else... I don't recall.
Never super setted them though., Hmmmm may have to add those in later on down the road.....

Goal though is to try and build the legs up so they were not 'real' plyo's. So the idea was to explode up and then absorb the impact in the legs rather then explode back up. So I would jump up, absorb energy on contact, reposition myself, explode up and cycle through them that way. Form at the beginning of the move was concentrated on more then making sure timing was short between reps.

I agree with you on your suggestions to Jens as well. My thoughts exactly.
Thanks for the comments

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Plyo's are bodyweight exercises.... I'm sure you could add in light weight, or maybe like weighted ankle or wrist wraps, but for the most part it is not a 'strength' building type of exercise. Good for sports training and endurance athletes.
Yes, it can be a bit dangerous if you don't start, or land right which is why form was so important on what I was doing to prevent injury.
Anyone can add more info if they like!
