Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

:wavey: Tre! I wanted to see if I could tap into your knowledge base. Have you heard of the body gem to test RMR? Any idea of accuracy? I remember that you had to blow into some contraption at Ballys to get yours way back when. Did you find that number to be beneficial? Did you use it to determine your daily calorie intake? I'm debating if it's worth paying $50 to get it done.

Yes ma 'am that was the body gem.
They are pretty accurate in determining your resting metabolic rate. That is what I used on all my clients and myself to work a diet around. You should have it redone every 6 months as your metabolism will change. Definitely worth the $50. My friend who went to my comp, I just did her's about 2 months ago and since then and figuring a diet out for her based off of that she has been dropping BF and gaining muscle. I should have one done again myself... it's been awhile. Just remember to get it done first thing when you wake up. Don't do anything throw clothes on, don't get your heart rate up, don't eat or drink (especially caffeine), and just try and stay calm. That is the most accurate way.

Thanks, Tre!!! You are such a wealth of knowledge!:rose:I will get it done along with my bod pod bodyfat test. I'm definitely excited to have some good base numbers at the start of Oct so I can see where I am at the end of the year.

Glad you're feeling better :friends:

SEP 23 2006
Mood = Calm
Soreness = Definitely Legs

Food will be clean as always. Sticking with the same basic layout as all week, but moved around a bit.

Yeah I get to see mom today. Haven't seen her since JUNE!!!!!

Weights = Shoulders, abs (yesterday was chest and arms).

Notes:
1) Need to adjust arm work-out. Did the whole cable stack and needed to move up in weight yesterday. Either switch around the superset, or new exercises for me.
2) Adjust monday leg work-out
