while its true that ive only been here a few months, RADAR has done nothing but help me. he has answered EVERY e-mail that i have ever sent him. so what if he put up false pics. ill bet he isn't the only one on elite who has done this
its funny, not long ago i was reading all the threads about how radar was the @#!# around here. i like to think that those posts were for his help not his pictures!
the fact remains that RADAR is a strong asset to this board and i for one dont want to loose his advice and knowledge!
ps i allready know i posted this in an ongoing thread but i just wanted to help my bro RADAR out! :p

Amen, for almost 2 years he has helped me out, and I have done anything he has needed as well, OUTSIDE these boards. He's as good as they come.
 
RADAR has been my "go to guy" for a while now.
I think he is the one of the best bros no matter what.
 
i think indy and radar are both outstanding human beings...indy for mod...(just to piss off needto)...also because hes got tons of knowledge :)

Radar is a good guy when it came to info. But I hope that all that stuff about Indy threatening to have people banned and then having Radar bomb them isn't true. The pics are one thing. We *all* do stupid shit in life. But if he was working with Indy to bully members or censor posts, then that would be a real let down.

I think the best thing is for everyone to just come clean and be honest. There's people going nuts over this and wanting blood. Honesty is the only thing that can help in a situation like that. Why is everything kept so secret? There's no need for that. Let the truth come out and then let this shit die once and for all.

I don't know if any of you bro's remember about 3 or 4 years back. Some stuff went down. We lost a lot of *great* members like Spatts, Ranger, 2thick etc. It would be a shame if that happened again (almost did with Galaxy, glad to see he is back).

We are all supposed to be brothers in this game. With le not giving two shits about real issues and bothering people who want to improve their bodies, people in the public having a bad image of us and all the other crap we face, we should be sticking together. No more hiding in shadows and waiting for some man behind a curtain to decide if it's time for us to know the truth. Screw the fake pics. But as for the other stuff, shed some light on it. That way we can all finally move on.

Radar has always been helpful to me.....the pic thing was stupid yes i saw past that though....then there was the satch thing...i think he had faith in some one and found out the hard way that satch is in fact a shit bag.
He has always been nice to me.
**As far as newbie saying indy should be mod-Please he already runs his mouth and pretends he is one....let him keep pretending, it suits him well!

Radar made a whole fuss about "I Dont joke about things like that!!!" when he was asked if the igf pic was him. then we found out it was some bber from europe. so radar says "it was a joke, it was a mistake, it was stupid". M18, Huck are awesome standup guys. I seem to remember Radar being pretty good help from time to time...BUT, this whole situation stinks. Why isn't this guy's name posted? What's with the lies? Back in the day people trusted the MODS without question. Now, when Mods vouch for a guy, and the guy scams, they deserve to be flamed for it. The reason they are in charge is b/c they are supposed to be in the know about people. They will say "we didn't know he was a scammer"...then don't offer an opinion at all...did you know 100% that he wasn't a scammer? It's funny how people want the menbers to just move on and forget all this...all we have on here is our repuation and our word. Once you lose that, there is no going back. ever.

Radar and all the mods have been very helpful to me either by repsonding directly to me or me reading some earlier on post. Im new and the game and may not have as much right to post on this thread , but i give credit where credit is due he is a good bro. To everyoen that bashs him why not do somethign a lil more constructive with your time other than be negative , nobodys perfect look in the mirror are u ?

I don't think anyone knows the WHOLE story. I certainly don't, and I'm not gonna speculate randomly without any firsthand evidence. But I will say that it looks real bad for some folks on here and a lot doesn't add up. I have 2 questions, one for the people who think Indy is in on it, and one for Indy:


1) For the people who think Indy is in on it -- Why is Indy still here if he's a scammer? That would be a first. Most at least come back w/ a new handle instead of wasting time trying to explain away their scam. Makes no sense.


2) For Indy -- Why, especially after the mob wanted blood and posted PERSONAL SHIT about you, did you simply give Satch's info TO THE MODS instead of posting it?? I would have posted that shit ASAP if I got screwed by Satch as bad as you appear to have been. I mean shit, if what you say is true...YOU got scammed worse then anyone! I wouldn't care if the mods deleted it...its the only way to show you aren't in on it! Makes no sense.


Again, I don't know what happend...but I'm curious what the answers are to those questions.

There's no doubt for me that RADAR is a good guy. This is looking like E! entertainment; stupid and ridiculous. He posted a false pic? so what? He knows his stuff and any pro will agree with that. Most of celebrities personal trainers are under 200 pounds so what's the deal with it. Just because he is a mod? or because he is a vet? I don't care. He has posted real pics of himself anyway so if you have enough memory you shouldn't be crying right now.

I was on this board regularly from 2001-2002, and it is disappointing that all of this bullshit is flying around. God, the only thing comporable back then was that dude that injected into his sphincter and everyone flaming that tool "LUVS2JUICE."

Ive been back on the board for 4 weeks now and feel like I am starting from scratch again in many respects. I emailed a few mods with questions, and Radar is the only one that has taken the time to answer my questions and give me advice. People make mistakes, but why would he bother to take the time to give me advice on training, gear etc. (plus all of the time giving advice on board) if he was insincere or out to scam? Radar, you are a good bro.

Scammers are unfortunately a fact of life thats it. They always will and TBH their approach is always the same. I could name 10 that all did what Satch did. What is also the same is the usual '' i will find him'' crap.

If i was a Director or Mod of Elite i would not post his details as this is a business and open to a legal prosecution if wrong (which it has been on many occasions). If you were scammed then mail Indy for the addy or find it out. It is then up to you to do what you have to do. In reality nothing will happen and thats why some scammers take that route as its safer not to have AAS and just take money.

Also if you were going to do something about it why would you want it public knowledge on the internet?

As for Radar he has been here many years as have many other Mods. Its a thank less job. 1 minute they are heros the next they are involved in conspiracy. They just can't win in their jobs to make the boards move cleanly for no pay!!

I don't know about Radar posting pictures that were not his but sure the humiliation of being found out is enough punishment. Bottom line is he a good Mod? Yes IMHO he is.

Now if people want revenge on Satch go do it but don't sit behind your keyboard moaning about it. If you are not then time to move on as rest assure within 6 months this will all happen again with someone else.

if you can't wait that long do a search on Hulkster, Coolhandluke, Kjuck etc etc there is the same drama, different Mods, same board to give you hours of entertainment.

Until then lets get on with gaining size and improving our bodies

When (I believe)I was getting scammed,Radar went out of his way to back me up.After his intervening everything turned out fine.He could have said "it's your mess clean it up",but instead helped out.I'm glad he's on our side.
 
Yes, I agree that RADAR is a great guy. He's given so many people help and continues to, which makes him a better man. I've always backed radar up and looked up to him, but that's changed. I'm only upset because he packed lies on lies on top of those lies, trying to hide his previous lies, while getting galaxy banned too! Radar deserves every bit of this, but you mafuckers better not run him off because he's one of the most knowledgable guys here thats very willing to help.

Radar, you have to believe how hard it is for us to believe you now. Especially when you say you went to find a pic that looks like yours?! It's funny you mention this because a couple of weeks before Satch and ...abolics were "busted" I recieved an e-mail from DBBT containing ...abolics price list. I have been here since 2001 and I have never asked for a source so when this list was sent to me I was suspicious of it.When I asked why he sent it to me DBBT was saying that he was just trying to help people get their products and that he had sent it to many (newbies) others.I asked him for mod backing and he pointed to Radar.I sent a pm to Radar asking him to take a look at the e-mail but I didn't name a source and I was not asking for a source check, no response!I still have these emails if any mod wants to look at them!!

Radar is a good guy with lots of knowledge.This fake picture crap is irrelevant compared to what he has contributed to this board!!

I dont care what RADAR looks like or whether he posted bogus pics of himself or not....what I will say is that he has helped many people on this board including myself, and what I think speaks even louder than that is what he hasnt done...he hasnt scammed anybody!!!!!!!

I don't know if DBBT is a source or doing anything wrong but he should not be soliciting for business via PM that a board rule and stinks of scammer to me. As far as the pic thing...well that was realy a shitty thing to do and quite disgracefull!

Fact is he is a good guy and looks damn great for his age. I think he regrets what he did. Honestly that pic thing made me quite disgusted as well. Its a good guy making an imbecil decision IMO.
 
Well I see that I missed another event while I was gone. I dont know what happened, but as I've said many times before I judge peoples knowledge based on their post, not their pics. You can have the greatest physique in the world and still not know jack about gear, diet, and training. People shouldnt be so quick to take someones advice as golden just because they have a decent physique.

wow...this drama's gotta stop. bros...we need to focus more on AAS rather than drama. this is the way i look at it and it's the first time i've gotten invloved in this whgole situation:

1) mods can only send us in the right direction from what they know. we then have to use our own judgement on what's the next move. and personally...with plenty of research...we don't even need mods for the resources. it's just a fast lazy way out and somebody to blame when it goes wrong. mods are not gods...they are as normal as us and can be lied to as well and can also make mistakes.

2) i really don't care what radar looks like physically. i'd rather get advice from a 150lb weisle with crazy knowledge than a 150lb baboon who took other people's advice. the fake pic thing was wrong but whatever...get over it. bottom line...RADAR knows his shit.

3) satch is a scammer. never got me but did get others. actually, he helped me but whatever. sorry bros...it's a bad part of the game we play here. it's not the 1st or last time people are gonna get scammed.

4) indy...i don't know what to say...you still give solid advise and i believe you are knowledged. i don't know him BTW, don't even think i've ever interacted with him either. either way...remember...there is no open sourcing here so like i said earlier...we should be focusing more on research. if he was backing somebody, then it's your decision to belive him or not.

Ain't this some shit. I came to this site because my boy fivefold talked so highly of RADAR. And from everything that i have read he has done nothing but try to help people get the best outta what they are trying to accomplish. I am sure that some of the people that have taken his advice in the past are the same ones bashing him. The ones complaining sound like a bunch of bitches. Just appreciate the fact he is here and willing to help.

True...BUT, when you scam someone, you are taking your life in your own hands. To say you should "just deal with it" is laughable. A scammer is a scammer.

Also, I don't know much about the situation that is going on but if someone posts a pic of someone else and says it is them, that is deception on a whole new level. To lie about something so stupid tells me that a person really can't be trusted. Now, if someone was not being truthful about say, doing something illegal, that is different. It is understandable that someone would lie to protect their freedom but to lie about a picture, I just don't get it. Again, I don't know all the facts here and am just giving my opinion. I have been off the boards for awhile and can't believe how this board has changed. Why is everyone so quick to defend people that were involved in ripping off fellow members? Totally agree about the life in own hands bit, but if someone has been scammed, what difference does it make having 20 or so different threads on the same situation, it's just needlesly causing bad atmosphere. What can you hope to gain from another post about the situation. Enough has been posted to warn people of the possible scammers, it's there choice to trust or not to trust but does it need to be shared with the board at a thread eod?

as for the pic thing big e, I agree, pretty weird but then I'm sure there are plenty of weird people out there.

True...BUT, when you scam someone, you are taking your life in your own hands. To say you should "just deal with it" is laughable. A scammer is a scammer.

Also, I don't know much about the situation that is going on but if someone posts a pic of someone else and says it is them, that is deception on a whole new level. To lie about something so stupid tells me that a person really can't be trusted. Now, if someone was not being truthful about say, doing something illegal, that is different. It is understandable that someone would lie to protect their freedom but to lie about a picture, I just don't get it. Again, I don't know all the facts here and am just giving my opinion. I have been off the boards for awhile and can't believe how this board has changed. Why is everyone so quick to defend people that were involved in ripping off fellow members? Anyway, I am just ranting because I am disappointed in the way this board is going...Can't we all just get along?

i completely agree. people dont understand that its not that we care how radar looks, its the fact that he lied to us this whole time, while people were badmouthing other 'newbs" that did wat radar did. and i bet u that if some "newb" was to to come on now and claim a bber's pic as himself he would get bombed into oblivion. but yet we're so forgiving of radar coz hes a "good bro" and coz he's "helped people". that doesnt add up. for the penalty there should be a price. people have been banned from the site for posting fake pics, yet radar is MOD. WTF? like i said before, we dont care if radar was a skinny/fat, ugly/nasty never-seen-a-weight kinda guy, as long as he came on the site and said "here this is me, nothing impressive but im working at it". on the contrary, we would respect it. but he came on here pushing the bber;s pic as his and talking shit about the ppl that did the same shit. thats pathetic. also, if a newb came here and did that, i wouldnt care. but if a MOD (a person that has sooo much power) shows that he would willingly do something so pathetic, well that just kills the site;s credibility. and for the record, radar never gave any cutting edge, unfathomable advice. his advice was generic that would be useful to a newbie. dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with that, but its not hard to find that kind of info on the net and just pass it off as ure own. if dan duchaine came on here and passed ronnie coleman's pic as his own. i wouldnt give a fuck, coz the guy changed the way we look at bbing and came up with so many breakthrough theories and paved the way for todays gurus. but radar only gave generic info that any one that stays on a bbing board for a month can get. sooooo....why the forgiveness. coz he's a "good bro", coz hes a "buddy", coz hes "been nothing but a good friend". thats not just. thats pathetic. we ALL , should be treated equally.and radar shouldnt be excused from his "mistakes". and the people saying 'everyone makes mistakes'. u guys are idiots. its one thing to make a mistake and quickly come clean, its another to perpetuate the mistake, like radar did. and the caliber of the mistake must taken into consideration too. its one thing to say, "ronnie won 10 olympias....no by bad only 8", but its another thing to pass a pic as your own. thats not a mistake thats deception. and quite frankly, i dont think someone like that should be mod.

Like I said, he has a credibility problem that he has to deal with. Maybe you guys are right. I've always been too forgiving. It's extremely childish to do. Now, the alibi about his pics (which closely resembled the fake one) having been destroyed in a fire is pretty hard to swallow. Now that I think about it, this is pretty funny because it's so pathetic.

I agree that this subject has been fully beaten to death. But we are still waiting on the personal info about the scammer. If this info is kept secret, this guy (or guys) will be able to continue to scam. Yes, we know his screen name but that isn't enough. If anyone else is scammed by this guy, I propose that it is the fault of whomever is witholding his info...

I don't know if DBBT is a source or doing anything wrong but he should not be soliciting for business via PM that a board rule and stinks of scammer to me. If he is or not i don't care but yes this information should be known and dealt with (as same as what the Hulkster was doing and look at the drama that caused)

This is exactly what I was saying.DBBT asked for my email addy in a pm then sent me this sources info and this threw up a big red flag.I asked a mod to look into this and no response so I felt I needed to look out for others.Thanks Wrongun!!

nah bro...i'm just giving credit where credit is due. as for my Mr X thread...tell me the guy hasn't given more than 110%. he's the only one trying to keep some order in this fuckin mess. from all the green i got just from my post on here...i guess there are plenty of other bros that appreciate what i had to say and feel the same way i do.

like i said...i've read every thread about everything that has been going on and didn't wanna get involved...too much drama for me and thats not why i'm here. and after the remarks you made...thats exactly why i never wanted to get involved. if i want drama...i'll call one of my girls.

I would LOVE to hear the implications of a person using a fake photo and passing it off as themself...because I personally think it is nothing short of hilarious that you people put so much stock in a person's avatar internet photo. If that is how you judge a person, well then that is laughable as well...

Well. you were feeling the love, bro. :) From where, I don't know. I think a lot of EF mods at present are regretting what went on unchecked for some time and, at present, kudos may not be in order. But thanks for the green.

The only implication you perpetuated at all was that the credibility of the board would be lost because RADAR passed off a picture of a pro for himself. If this board's credibility is based solely (or even more than a randomly contrived 2%) on RADAR and his photo, then this board has no credibility. While RADAR may not have--in your opinion--given any amazing advice, he nonetheless DID answer more questions from anybody than most people here, and he as well does a pretty good job at keeping crappy people and info away from this place.

I still don't see what kind of problem is. So what do you consider the punishment for posting a fake photo of himself on the damn internet? Should we post his personal info, kill his family, ban him from ever being allowed to post again? Or should we maybe just accept the fact that the public humiliation of being caught is sufficient enough?

Is this really something worth bitching about? Please, again, if there are larger worldwide implications to RADAR posting a fake pic, please let me know and I will reconsider my response.

I think the point here is that if someone would lie about something so simple, they would lie about anything. It is not putting stock in someone's picture, it's putting stock on someone's word. The picture is not the big deal, it's the lies. How can this board let a mod lie and expect everyone to "not get too excited" about it? Honestly, if someone lies to me about something so petty, I wouldn't listen to their advice for fear that it is probably inaccurate too.

Agreed. MOD's where are you? I would like some MOD input on this. Another thing, when he was confronted with the fake pic, he made up a quick excuse and didn't just take his lumps. I believe that it really shows someone's character when the are caught in a lie like this...do they own up and say "I'm sorry and I shouldn't have done this" or just make up some excuse and feel like they are justified in their lie. I am sorry to keep this up but a liar is the worst kind of person...I can't stand them.

I'm disappointed.

I'm disappointed because you don't need to live up to a photo to offer good advice. It's saddening to realize that we really are that superfical and mislead. You don't have to live up to a photo to be knowledgeable or well verse in something.

I'm disappointed in the silence in people and the waves of great support that covers up the shock of realizing the truth about something or someone and being forced to face that you too were fooled.

I'm disappointed that so many people still believe that people who are nice 24/7 are automatically "good" people and the moody and generally too honest people are considered of "lesser quality".

I'm disappointed that I've felt no pleasure in being right.

As with everything time will pass and some will forget, some will not and most won't care either way. The focus will shift and on occasion someone will point out the scar made.
 
If you guys stop and think about how instrumental EF has been to reaching your goals, I think you'll realise that a little pretension on Radar's part is really inconsequential to the credibility of the mods and EF. The only questionable behavior was maybe promoting Satchboogie's agenda unlike anyone ever before. I'm sure that the admin and mods are coming to terms with the ramifications and are going to implement some important changes in the near future. Let's forgive and move on. It makes the most sense.
