i believe it was ulter that mentioned, on an arnold thread, that arnold worked out 6 days a week while eating 10k cals per day.

my question...

would it be beneficial to train 1-2 times per day on heavy sauce, 6 days a week while eating 10k cals?

i would assume its quite catabolic..
but the combo of heavy sauce and 10k cals is quite anabolic?

so what do you think?
 
Yo satch. How's the 6 string treating you?

Training twice a day is something that was pretty common back in the 60's. It seemed to work for the guys with extrodinary genetics but for most people,they quickly overtrained. However, I think today, most guys UNDER train. And then they beat themselves up trying to lose fat by doing aerobics. (But let's not start that argument again. Not today at least).

As far as the 10K cals...bullshit. I'm sure Arnold had a healthy appitite and burned off much of what he ate but no one can eat that much food and not get fat. That could something that Arnold actually said, but he said a lot of shit -- at times for nothing more than shock value, and at other times to fuck people up.
 
Next bulking cycle I'm going to Work bodyparts 2 times a week.....see if I can tear more fibers.

Nelson, now that your back.....I wanted to say that I've been using the supplements that you recommended about 7 months ago for a natural Thyroid Boost and I must say I'm extremely impressed with the results. I felt like my metabolism was in full throttle and still is! Here is a link:

I couldn't access the thread. (This computer of mine is barely a step above a stone tablet. Time for an upgrade).

Did you use the individual supps or go with the Protein Factory ZIP! which has all the ingredients I recommend. I like the fact that the ZIP has the natural thyroid gland which is hard to come by. I just hope they let us keep using it. It's on the FDA's list (along with 7 keto) of things to go.
 
I used the individual supplements. Bought them in bulk so I've still got a bunch left. I'm still taking them now post cycle to keep my metabolism going while I'm in recovery.
 
I'm training each body part three-four times a week, gaining size and strength, while getting leaner, and on a realitively mild stack (50 mg prop/25 mg tren ed). I'm eating about 4500 cals a day since I'm trying to lean out a bit, so its nothing like the 10,000 Arnold was taking in.
